    I got my transmission fixed in my car today. Yay! It was painfully expensive, but it's done. Also, the shop at which I dropped it off to get it fixed had three guard dogs. Two terrifyingly stoic doberman guard dogs... and leading the pack was a -very- serious pug. It was amazing. I felt like I got lost in some cartoon world for a flash. These two insanely intimidating dogs (who were super sweet) were being ushered into my personal space by a macho man pug with a 'tude. Then I got inside and found yet another pug curled up in this big, fur dog bed and she had a sparkly pink collar. I will always give that shop my business from this day forward. Excellent service and amazing pups. Legit.

    Finally cut through the paint on my window frames. I can now open two windows in my apartment! Yay to not dying in a fire (despite @Hirst's wishes).

    Also,  mimosas, soup,  and music to dance around the apartment.

    Got to work at midday, power outage. Team meeting at 2pm, phones shut down. As a call centre this is ideal. Logged into Achaea for a while with my laptop and using my phone's 3G :D Had to get back to work now though since everything is back up and running again.
