Sorry, but I'd laugh myself silly if Ictinus made  it so that every room you enter - only you - you had to pull a lever in the direction you want to go, but a random number of times between 1 and 100. Just for a day (of being logged in). That kind of cheekiness is why, despite the bitching, I love the admin/coders of this game. The random fuckery they do with players can be hilarious.

Wrote a new iterator for my mapper to find rooms sorted by distance. Included it in some script. Tested the script. Mudlet froze up and for more than 10 minutes I just twiddled my thumbs and kept hoping it was just a rather long loop that would eventually terminate, because I wasn't sure if I had saved my profile after all that coding and didn't want to force-quit Mudlet.

Well, eventually I gave in and force-quit anyways. Turns out I had saved the profile, so all's good! But I learned the hard way never to test any sort of loop without adding a counter to terminate after 10000 steps or so.

I really wish the experience gain spins scaled at least A LITTLE BIT with level, so that those above 100 or so didn't only get like... 0.0001% of their level from it. Even 0.05%, an occasionally noticeable bump, would be better than nothing at all - which feels even worse than having missed the wheel.

It's now been a little more than a year from when I started playing Achaea. Ryssa is now nearly 50, and a lot has happened. The Third Black Wave, changing classes, gaining a family, losing those important to her, and finding great friends. Losing her home, then gaining it back with her city and family by her side. Singing and writing. So so much has happened. The foremost ones who had an influence on Ryssa has been @Eril @Zadkiel @Evanston @Tasus @Roselie @Zbaco @Kog @Stefana @Arin! @Phaestus @Neraeos @Keorin and especially @Synthus. And many more with different interactions and discussions and battles that have moved Ryssa on her journey. And I just want to thank all of you, whether enemies or friends in Achaea. Even though I haven't been able to play as much as before, you all have made it an amazing game. I hope that even more ventures will come up in the future.

And thank you, @IRE @Makarios @Nicola and all the Devs, Admin, and Volunteers for the work you put into this world. As a person who has always escaped through books, stories, and a wildly active imagination, this is a phenomenal world to have stumbled upon. 

Again, all of you, thank you for making this the best game I've ever seen, and the best book I've ever read.
