    Auto bashers are fun to kill, not everyday you can spend 75s stacking bleed with no reaction but dash loop into block.

    I really, really wish they would actually investigate and punish people who autobash.
    She got killed for it. . . Seems like almost all autobashing systems will have these issues arise to take advantage of.

    She died because she was afk when attacked, and she was attacked due to something completely unrelated to bashing. It also shouldn't be down to players finding, or fortunately having, legitimate roleplay reasons to kill other players to enforce rules about OOC concepts (automation while afk).

    As long as we remove all forms of automation, fishing, enchanting, harvesting etc etc then remove it. Everyone afks, and she’s never afk bashed afaik (maybe slightly busy or alt tabbed), but even with just a basic attack loop script can have that happen. Rather have autobashers you can go out and kill than the ones that afk on guards/ships etc.

    From what I understand, the technical difficulties of finding 'automation' kind of revolve around deciding how much script assist counts as automation. Is it auto hunting if you physically move to the next group of enemies? Is autohunting anything outside a DOR loop? I've had arguments with people who brag about auto harvesting, only for them to turn around and say 'I wasn't actually afk, I was watching netflix in another tab'. Same with auto combat. I imagine most people have an automated shield-break trigger, even if the rest of their offense is manual. Is auto prio switching then ok? Or is a full auto offense fine as long as you at least hit the first 'kill' button? Do full manual people feel devalued when somebody automates right past them in terms of success?

    I think there needs to be a clear cut line before you can even start to think about doing something about it. My 'autohunt' is basically a glorified DOR with a shield break, but I'd love a version of Keanunununu's auto targeter if there was a functional one for nexus. I automate tease and yank times while fishing because reaction speed and latency almost necessitate it. I guess it comes down to, 'How much manual input are you required to have?'

    I feel two ways about automation in Achaea. I will never automate movement when bashing/harvesting and rather dislike the idea of doing that. I feel like it promotes the people who move into an occupied room and start hammering away at someone you're dealing with. It's always rather annoying when someone moves in, slaughters something you're working on, and them moves on with no words said.

    On the other hand, I feel differently about fishing. If you fish at sea and are afk, random sea monsters encounters and pirates could potentially sink you. River and lake do not generate as much profit and could potentially open you up to theft attempts. For the tree, there are rats and slavers to keep you on your toes. I feel like there is a pretty good balance here. For now, I have worked in sound reminders to keep myself remembering to re-cast my line, but I do not think it would be a crime to allow automation with such easy ways to test to see if you're paying attention to your screen.

    Without a full log you can't really say she was autobashing. Who's to say she didn't finish bashing then did GOTO <some area> and went afk while walking?
    Gonna ban autowalking when it's built into the game? There's still a lot of checks the in game walker doesn't do as well.

    She was in the middle of bashing Vertani and had cleared about half the area when I walked in. I was hitting for about 15s before she killed the denizen in the room and looped dash into my hinder/block for the rest of the duration, only doing PTV at the very end.

    So to clear this up, what I do is I remote into my computer on my phone while I'm watching TV and have next room aliases and I run my bashing button if I detect there are targets in the room with K's Basher. You came in, attacked and I goto Mhaldor running into your block. Then, I tried to spam leap not knowing that homunculus blocks that. So I ran back to my computer and then tried tumble, blocked. Finally only PTV worked.

    Sorry it was an easy kill for you.

You came in, attacked and I goto Mhaldor running into your block. Then, I tried to spam leap not knowing that homunculus blocks that. So I ran back to my computer and then tried tumble, blocked. Finally only PTV worked.

    The automation you seem to have a problem with in the original post was that I kept running into your block and not doing anything else.

    I kept running into block because of that goto mhaldor command to run, I didn't do anything else because I'm not setup to fight on phone.

    I would remove this log if I were you. Your triggers definitely break automation rules and could get you shrubbed.
    The only part that is pertinent to hunting would be automatically changing keanu's attackcommand? Not sure which part you're referring to.

    Anyway, I removed the log. You've been around a lot longer than I have so I'll err on the side of caution.

    I didn’t see anything wrong in the log either. Everything she did has been in place and available in game for years. A lot of people use Kbasher, it’s nothing new.
