Today I decided that I wasn't going to log in. Dosen't seem like any reason to do so. Nothing good is allowed to happen. If it does, someone shits all over it. Creeps follow me, perverts make passes at me, and the people I need to talk aren't online anyway. Thanks internet, bad things happen all the time.

I am a male Rajamala, I didn't think pervs would be a problem. No big deal, haven't seen them since. Creepy dude was just a brick short of a load. I wasn't certain if he was going to kill me or give me a blessing.
Logged in anyway, just a bit to get past last of newbie stage. Learned how to swing up into trees. Learn how to fall out of trees, breaking both legs, and cannot move anywhere. Learned I REALLY needed to buy curatives. Realized I have no house members are online, and no one from the clans either. Being city-less has a few down sides.
Today was just a very bad day.
Remember kiddies, always buy one of every curative, even if you think you will never need it!
Logged into the Portal and was going to go the the library to read scrolls. Creepy dude follows me. I told him I was not doing any thing interesting, but he said he was going to protect me. Took a wrong turn, and ended up New Thera. Creepy dud tells me to take him to Tsuar'ke so he can commune with his deity. Speaks with "a Celestial tone" and carries a Divine mace, so I'm thinking he may be a somebody really important. Take him to a temple outside of Tsuar'ke and he promptly attacks a moth. He dies. I asked him in a tell what was going on. He said he had to die.
Dying is easy enough in this game, you don't need to follow random people to get killed.
If the dude is really bothering you, ignore him and then issue if he keeps it up. Life is way to short to spend dealing with creepy newbies who won't leave you alone.
I had the unfortunate responsibility of trying to make a novice understand that if they learned how to control their projectile vomiting they'd likely have a better time.

I know who you're talking about and I think his behaviour has been bothering a number of people. If he is STILL bothering you after this, even without getting to the point where you want to ISSUE him, please feel free to find someone in Cyrene to mention it to (including me if I'm available). You don't need to just tolerate it.
"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to? You will never find that [everlasting] life for which you are looking. When the gods created man they allotted to him death, but life they retained in their own keeping. As for you, Gilgamesh, fill your belly with good things; day and night, night and day, dance and be merry, feast and rejoice. Let your clothes be fresh, bathe yourself in water, cherish the little child that holds your hand, and make your wife happy in your embrace; for this too is the lot of man."
Yes, he is who you think he is. No, that was the only time I encountered him. I've seen him a couple times since, but I avoid him completely. Just wanted to post the whole story. Too bad he wasn't a jester, it would be a good litle prank.
Had a long chat with an old friend that clarified a few things. Now to move forward and pray - this is either going to end spectacularly well or incredibly god damned horribly. Fingers crossed!
Did some reading for my house reqs, a few spars, wrote some letters then left to take a nap.
Woke up from said nap to some excitement.

Sorry, that sucks.

Of course im not saying it was bad you defended the totem while I was smudging it but..
Unless your talking about where you eventually killed my by running me into a 2v1.. cause I could've called for backup long before that, I was just giving you a fair fight.

Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
At the peak of three small stone steps lies the private office of the leader of the house: a lofty affair of refined elegance and comfort. The room is tastefully decorated in a rewarding mixture of blues and greens, offering tranquility and peace to those who inhabit this quiet sanctum. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. An obsidian eye sigil is here. A runic totem is planted solidly in the ground. A black oak desk is here. A black oak bookcase is here. A black oak chair sitting behind a black oak desk is here. There are 5 corpses of a death adder here. There are 2 corpses of a small winged daemonite here. There are 2 corpses of a noble hippogriff here. Feebly flapping its now torn wings, the giant bat slowly sinks into death's silent embrace. What looks at first glance to be a pile of rubble is actually the broken remains of a stone gargoyle. Even with wings mangled and feathers bloody, a dead giant eagle still looks majestic. A headless corpse, devoid of identity, lies here. A small butchering cleaver has been forgotten here. The shining figure of a guardian angel floats in the air here.
Halos Vorondil, Herald of Redemption is here, plotting under his breath. He wields the corpse of a dingo pup in his right hand and the corpse of Hasar's thousandth mule in his left.
You see a single exit leading east (closed door).
A frenzied cleric screams, "Like more than one halo!"

Wrote my first rondelet, another limerick, and got the scaffolding in place for a sonnet. The struggle continues!
Edit: And bought a set of artifact vials so I can start participating in THE GREAT WAR.
Got rekt by Xinna again in Annwyn. Managed to get a draw twice before I got sloppy. Also had a delightful conversation about bard mechanics.
Tested some stuff with big Mic and contemplated buying artifact vials for when I go dormant.
