  • Tsol'aa, Tsol'teth, and Tsol'dasi were the three original races created by Ayar, if I recall correctly.

Just Tsol'aa is, the Tsol'teth and Tsol'dasi are all Tsol'aa wannabes.

    There's a quest to learn Tsol'dasi..? Awesome.

    What's a Tsol'dasi?
It's based in Istarion which is where the Tsol'dasi roam, and the deer and the antelope play! Actually more like spiders and weird worms. Either way.

Eh, no. The Tsol'teth were Tsol'aa. Pretty sure the Tsol'dasi were Tsol'aa as well at some point.

They just changed their names, they still Tsol'aa but they are just wannabes now.

This is originally why I chose the Tsol'aa race, because it has a very cool background and a lot of lore to it. I consider the Tsol'teth the power hungry enslavers and the Tsol'dasi the hermits. They are all Tsol'aan, but just branched out after disagreements. (Or wannabes as Achmrst puts it. Heh.)
  • You raze a pirate with an eye-patch's magical shield with an ornate steel rapier.

Lightning-quick, you jab a pirate with an eye-patch with an ornate steel rapier.

You have slain a pirate with an eye-patch, retrieving the corpse.

Your soul cries out in ecstasy as it reaches new heights of power. You have advanced to level 80.

You have reached the illustrious level of Logosian.

For those wondering approximately what it takes to reach 80, here's my STAT STATS.  Keep in mind that most of my PVP deaths cost no experience as they were during sanctioned raids.  On the other hand, my kills contributed pretty heavily (I think I went from 72-75 on PK alone).

Met Brynhilde, the wanderer. This doubles as a rave, because it was a short, but very fun interaction. Whoever did that, I love you so much. It was totally unexpected, but very enjoyable.  <3

  • Finally got around to coding up some herb precaching stuff, d/ced from the spam of outrifting my supply of a few herbs one at a time, then d/ced again when I touched mindseye and mudlet's json parser choked on the gmcp room items table. Yay debugging.

I finally took time to regain level 80 in the midst of the flurry of activity that has been Mhaldor lately. Feels good to not have to stop for naps or stop and shake bananas out of trees while sailing.

Took on a novice as my new protege. Dragged another novice for some hunting. Went sailing and found no ships, so I started fishing. Netted myself 40k gold, yay! Posed Mhaldor an impromptu challenge to spur some city participation in outward endeavours. Updated a House requirement scroll, as per feedback and deadline. Then, back to IRL work. Pretty relaxing day, all things considered.

  • Wrote a limb tracker that works, then realized there's like a dozen more things I hadn't thought of that could mitigate an attack.  But otherwise the hard part (and the getting it to work and look pretty) is done.

Today I logged in to a bit of testing with Telvantes, helping him re-learn cures and such, before heading down to a small House social gathering. This was untimely interrupted by Ashtan, but gritted teeth through it and eventually it came to an end.

After the raid, I gathered the remaining House members and did a small event regarding learning how to figure out secrets - finally, I should say, as this is something I had been planning to do for a few days. This went over much better than I expected it to, and we all had quite a bit of fun trying to throw each other off and make deductions about which secret belonged to whom. Special mentions to our two novices who took up the challenge despite being new and younger, and thus having less information which to base their deductions off of. You both were quite impressive.

Then as people were leaving from the event, Saeva and I had a most odd encounter. I thought perhaps I knew from who at first, but by the end of it I was quite surprised and thoroughly creeped out. Extremely surprising and now I'm not sure what will happen next, but I look forward to it all the same!
And I love too                                                                          Be still, my indelible friend
That love soon might end                                                         You are unbreaking
And be known in its aching                                                      Though quaking
Shown in this shaking                                                             Though crazy
Lately of my wasteland, baby                                                 That's just wasteland, baby

Had a very interesting conversation with a former serpent dawnstrider turned Ashtani named Caedryn. Slowly piecing together what Shallam was like from all of the different interactions Jeslyn has had. Some glorify it, while others call it a sh*t hole. But seriously, thanks to those old players that put up with Jeslyn's curiousity. You all make things fun. :)

I always thought the poking was strictly for the 18 year old Siren alts.
  • Mucked around again with mixing server and Svo, set up my priories, went to try it out...and remembered why I stopped using server in the first place.

Woke up to join a raid, gained my level plus 25% to the next, and won my first duel today since coming back from my slumber. The duel was both exhilarating and nerve racking, to say the least.

Araval's on-point, pointed remarks about me, Taraus and Herenicus today made me laugh.

Died like a scrub along with the rest of the troupe to Ashtan's gank-a-roo squad while talking to Vaniah.

Promoted my novice to HR3 and watched as she fell asleep in the middle of taking her oath. Had to kick her awake to complete it.

Subsequently led Aoibheann to her death by mass today, which also made her disconnect.

    Pretty eventful!
