    Received a wonderfully enigmatic letter containing an awesome boon inside:

    Both the covers of this journal and the edges of its pages are dyed black, providing the book with a dark and mysterious appearance. The front cover bears, in its centre, the golden outline of a vulture perched atop a willow tree. On the back cover is embossed the image of a flame, created with 
    such fine detail that the flame appears to flicker. The volume is bound with black rings, each shaped from blackened humanoid finger bones, symbolising the eternal cycle of Death as well as the eternity of Death itself.

    Since Bluef's not Qui'anar, I can only assume it has something to do with her former role of Seeress (since Thoth is Patron of the Curia)...or that the item's cursed and someone wishes her dead. I keep checking to see if it's still in Bluef's inventory and wondering who the mysterious "M" is who sent it. Very cool!

    Given the stigma around Sirens, you guys really thought it was a good idea to name a position 'Right Hand'? I'm sure the males thank you for it though.
    People can pretty much sexualize anything, if they want to do so. Just look at the great autumn Spider Woman controversy.

    Signed in, realised I missed the window for the Aran'riod quest (again; getting that timing right is really annoying, especially given my timezone), grumbled.

    Went bashing for a little bit in a party with two dragons and realised how far behind I am. Or rather, how fragile and not-tanky and not-offensive I am in comparison. Resolved to get better.

    Then Mhaldor decided to skirmish, and (since I am whatever the grade below "complete newbie" is in PvP) I hung around in Eleusis until it ended. Went off and bashed my way through Mysia and around Ulangi a couple of times. Then it so happened that I walked into a room, mauled, obliterating critted, OHKOed and leveled, which made me feel pretty good. Cleared out Manara afterwards to celebrate, for old times' sake.
    - (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place."
    - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely."
    - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")."
    - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish."
    - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."

    Already did, after this post, I went and talked to @Tyamat who was really helpful and patient and understanding with all of my frustration. I hope things work out to where I can at least keep the shop in some way. Yesterday was just a clusterfuck of all fuckery.

    Won my first spar in quite awhile, even though I hardly know what I'm doing yet. It made me feel a bit better about the time I put into trying to learn how to do things like hotkeys and aliases. Spent the rest of the time learning more sparring techniques from Drual (She's amazing). And then got offered to participate in a ritual that made Jeslyn go WTF for about an hour until she turned it down. Hehe.

    Had a great time defending a shrine against Targossians. @Caladbolg YO!! @Vayne Lets keep on keepin on. @Tyamat Sorry for the corpse thing. Hashan really has been fun lately everyone seems really energetic and supportive. Great job to anyone else I have not mentioned.

    Hung with @Dairune.   @Shalar returned and we got to spar like old times.  But unlike other times..I beat him for once. (Highlight of my day honestly)  Hung out with @Rohai and @Jarrol . Got interrupted and played games with Ashtan. Got killed by them for using telepathy since thats all I could do on my phone.

    Went exploring up in Istar Jungle, then tried out bashing Moghedu with Kopeshku. Results were mixed, especially when Dajio showed up.

    Had a chat with several druids later on, which was quite enjoyable. Then bashing some more, alone this time.
