    Lost my first mine today to an attack, lost a decent bit of stone and soldiers I'd been training, which was a bit disappointing, but easy come easy go. Ended up with more coal than I knew what to do with, but luckily some citymates came through and helped out with storage issues.

    Then proceeded to insert foot into mouth and accidentally make an inappropriate joke because I haven't had enough sleep while studying for finals for summer courses.

    Played unCyrenian Families as the murderer...and won. :D It was a lot of fun even if I did have trouble getting over my guilt at pretend-killing my awesome citymates. First time I've played as the murderer.

    Oh! And I got most of my fashion show outfit for the crafter's fair back from the guild :) Just one piece left to go, and two new pieces for the carts, and I'll be all set.

    I went and talked to this dude earlier. The bastard hunts in D-form and has hardly any lessons in weaponmastery and is killing it.

    learned people would rather their own PK practices be protected than even attempt to understand how rules that serve to justify ruining other peoples time might be badly enforced or just badly written.

    Assuming this is in regards to @Dajio in which case, if he has no RP justification to attack (and he has done so repeatedly, from the information I've got) you simply issue him. He is one of the people that constantly are killing people without any real justification, and I'm sure it wouldn't be his first issue of this kind.

    i am loathe to continue talking about this. But my problem isn't that i was killed. I have read the rules and I am sick and tired of people coming to me and telling me that Dajio is within the rules. Please stop whatever it is you people think you are trying to accomplish by talking to me about it. Basically if what you have to say is about the rules and how Dajio is a dick that plays by the rules, straight up fuck off.

    He is not within the rules by attacking you. Regardless of it you die.

    You are not wrong by being upset about the situation, and would not be wrong in Issuing him.

    well sorry to snap at you then, but its been your close nit group that has been giving me this bullshit. I understand the goddamn rules. my problem is with how the rule is enforced. I logged in today hoping to be done with it, only to learn that my issue had been ignored, I assume because I was very upset and fragile when I wrote the issue and that made his measured reply with bullshit IC justifications the winner.  Only to be berated by praxides over and over again because I am upset and he is "within the rules".

    I didn't berate you, I said your issue was probably removed because you attacked him, which voids issues, and mentioned it insanely on market and CT several times, which also voids it. I agreed that he was skirting issues by claiming IC justification and gave you an example of one he could have used, just mentioned that you probably were overly worked up over it and therefore were making your issue void or weaker by constantly yelling about it in-game.

    Technically not even supposed to discuss issues, fyi. Anyways, don't think this is the thread to start getting into arguments and using expletives against each other.

    On another note, today has been a pretty blah day in Achaea for me. Hard to be productive when the weather is crazy hot.

    yeah I'm sorry about that. Ive been hearing ISSUE HIM for three days now. I did. Of course I did that. I'm getting tired of the inane opinions people have about my perception of what happened.  it is extremely offensive to just cite the rules at someone when they have a complaint. I will re-ally you Atalkez, sorry for judging you based on your friends.

    In times of writing issues, you need rules lawyers. Even though we don't have the same complex PK rules of before. You'll find enough people who don't like him enough to help you write a coherent and effective complaint that usually works better than the impassioned "OMG OMG HE'S BEING A DOUCHE" issues that usually get thrown out.
