    wake up to seeing a (10/11)v(5/6) targ raid in the logs, three failed tanks, one success.  XD

    -Though, almost a three hour long raid, what happened to all the complaining when mhaldor/ashtan did that to you guys?

    Couple things to point out here, if I may.
    2015/07/25 05:53:04 - Sarieno has disarmed a hostile tank. Cinandra, Eivan, Ginovianna, Jukilian, Kaillian, and Makina assisted in the defence.
    A. That is neither 5 nor 6.
    and B. You guys also called in hella guards:

    Which is fine - it's what they're there for. But let's not purposefully misrepresent the situation.

    I'm not saying it went well! I'm just saying, it wasn't really "(10/11)v(5/6)."

    (And I wrote my response before I saw the edit, so I wasn't speaking the timeframe piece.)

    Hashan actually did well defending with Jukilian in charge.  Retardation with guards indoors is strong stuff and our Magi didnt keep silence up to start.  

    The raid went long, we dropped a 3rd tank but the sanction ended.  We can't capture our own tank, we couldn't pick it up, or we would have and left.  Instead we had to try to get another sanction and blow it up.  What looked like a quick 15 minute raid dragged out much longer.

    oh, do note I'm not complaining about the raid, I'm commending the defenders.
    I did find it fitting to point out the irony in how long the raid took.

    and @Achilles, if you were going to simply take up and leave, you could've. Do not claim you were going to, because there is always the choice.
    Here the choice was:
    - accepting a defeat, recognizing there was still a tank in enemy territory, and leaving it behind.
    - Not acknowledging a defeat, picking the offense back up again, just to detonate a tank and have at least a small way of patching your wounds with a minor victory.

    We were fine leaving after 2 tanks but the sanction was still up so we tried a 3rd.  Sanction ended, we tried to pick up the tank and leave but either by design or perhaps a bug, we couldn't pick it up.  So we stayed instead of gifting a 3rd tank.

    It doesn't count until there are more deaths than there is deathsight history.

    Actually got a response to one of several messages I sent recently. Thanks @Zuko! It helps to get places in the world when people can be bothered to take the few moments needed to respond to inquiries. It made my month.   =)

    If I hadn't left, those guards most likely wouldn't have died. :(

    Oh well, 5-6 hours of bush dancing and hanging out with friends >>> keeping 10 guards alive, lol

    Edit: I'd bug or idea something about the sanction ending and not being able to get your tank back, @Achilles

    Not a bug. If you can't maintain the sanction your window for tanks from that sanction is meant to be over.

    Kind of tough to tell who this is directed at, presumably by design. But, as I said in my response to your message, full-member path stuff is 100% out of my purview. All I know is what's in the HHELPs. I forwarded your question on to the relevant parties, and there's legitimately nothing else I can do.

    No, no. Nothing to do with you or house stuff. Referring to those who literally don't respond but are necessary to speak to due to their positions. I moved on already. Though it's something I may address icly in the future because it needs improved upon. 

    edit: three different people didn't respond to three separate inquiries into the areas in which they are responsible. Definitely needs some improvement.

    @Jadys if people in a position take too long to reply, one-up them and casually mention who it was and how long it took. Always works.
    note : it's possible to miss a singular message, so

    day 1 : first message
    day 3 : reminder
    day 5 : one-up

    Stopped a theft today, though it was sorta an accident. I meant to stab the bastard with my trident, but I went and broke his leg instead. So I skullbashed while he was prone. In my defense, I was on mobile. During the unfair fight, the to-be-victim ran off and so he killed me and chopped off my head. 

    So not right :frown: I've got a pretty head, and now I have an ugly one in my pack. Meanie.....

    Also, why didn't anyone tell me breaking a leg would stop a theft attempt?!?!? Sheesh.

    Not today, but did happen yesterday: Accidentally sent a mistell when working through the variables in a lua script that ended in a conversation and now an ongoing conversion attempt. Read over a sermon and gave scathing critique, and read over a first draft of an application and asked to sponsor someone.
