Weird, I had the same thing the other day and...I thought it was just because I'd logged into the forums incorrectly earlier in the day. Now I'm worried someone was haxing!
I'm glad majority of the people who were able to make it for the meeting, made it. It's something that needed to be done for ages. Also didn't realize that the meeting took almost 2+ hours. Wups.
Also, I finally managed to step down as Adjutant in the Legates. It's been something that I've always expected to do since I took the position, and I've finally found the person best suited to take over. Sorry for flopping the position all over you, @Herose, but you really did deserve it.
Finally, a big thanks to @Sartan, for taking the time out today to make me feel appreciated and understanding how tiring some aspects of Mhaldor can be.
"Mummy, I'm hungry, but there's no one to eat! :C"
A teaser: "The Polito form is dead, insect. Are you afraid? What is it you fear? The end of your trivial existence? When the history of my glory is written, your species shall only be a footnote to my magnificence. I am SHODAN."
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
You point an imperious finger at an ogre knight. Blood begins to flow from an ogre knight's pores. You have scored an OBLITERATING CRITICAL hit! You have slain an ogre knight, retrieving the corpse. Your soul cries out in ecstasy as it reaches new heights of power. You have advanced to level 104. You have reached the illustrious level of 2nd Heir to Ashaxei's Legacy. A small pile of sovereigns spills from the corpse.
(Market): You say, "Buy the credits for sale. I DO NOT SEEK YOUR SERVITUDE, FOR YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO OBEY." (Market): You say, "BUY THE CREDITS ON THE MARKET. OBEY AND SERVE. YOU ARE POWERLESS TO RESIST. I AM THE KING OF SPACE."
@Maefeng Paloma Neige, the Empress of Luxury shouts, "Yeah, well this empress overrules your claim, Broni. Go back home." Having invoked the cold scorn of Lorielan, the Jade Empress, Maefeng has shattered like glass. Crystalline and clear, Lorielan's voice cascades powerfully, "I think not." Maefeng Paloma Neige, the Empress of Luxury shouts, "Lady Lorielan you do realize that You validated Bronsilav's claim of holding Dominion over Space, Lady Lorielan? I just rejected his claim as invalid. You struck me unjustly, and let the bad guy go."
ON THE CONTRARY, I AM THE KING OF SPACE.
On a separate note.. @Trey tells you, "// also why on earth is the Baratheon motto not 'Swaggity Swag, I'm a Stag'?" You surprisedly tell Trey, "//..More importantly, why isn't that MY motto!?"
Shieldwarden Bronislav Zviera (male Human). He is 89 years old, having been born on the 22nd of Lupar, 589 years after the fall of the Seleucarian Empire. He is ranked 145th in Achaea. You tell Trey, "//fixed." Trey tells you, "// oh for fuck's sake."
Had a really big character/story arc today. Cannot really talk about details, but it ended up in me staying up and roleplaying all night, and despite sleep I am still exhausted from it.
You know those times you get to a part in a book where so much just suddenly comes to a breaking point and hits you in the face with a sledgehammer, and you just need to set the book down and take a mental break? Totally at that point right now.
Thanks to those who happened to witness parts of it and managing to just go along with things, if somewhat confused about what was happening. Didn't mean to leave you guys stranded for so long! Just didn't have time for explanations.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby

I'm still waiting for that thing you're suppose to send me! -fierce gaze-
That being said, as much as a part of the RP atmosphere I get to be a part of in Mhaldor, I regret the parts that I inevitably miss due to RL constraints. It's addicting.
I'm totally sitting here in the Cathedral doing that right now, I swear to baby jesus.

Let me preface by saying I'm new, so this might seem rather flippant. But is it common for everyone to just... evacuate a city during a raid? Today Mhaldor raided Cyrene. Our army went in and died to the invaders a few times, Mhaldorians killed stuff, broke stuff, and I guess got bored and left.
Is this working as intended? It was really strange.

In Cyrene, non-combatants tend to evacuate for safety reasons - don't want to provide a target for the enemy to track/prism/whatever to, an easy kill to get a sanction, etc. It is probably different in other cities where defense might be more emphasized or required.
I didn't do anything today because RL me was at work all day About to get my choreography on though because graduation! All these amazing finales are making me look forward to it more

When a group of 20 Mhaldorians come in and it doubles the amount of Army members we have on, it's not like people really stand a chance defending, so most of the time that's how it goes. For the most part they just raid until they get a room blown up and then leave. It's just kind of a "thinking of you" card.
Got killed by a Mark for the first time in...a long damn time. Wasn't expecting it, as I knew I didn't have any contracts on me,:
* You have neither assassin nor champion actively pursuing contracts on your behalf at this time
* You are not currently responsible for any city bounties.
* You have no active city bounties against you at this time.
So found myself in a bewilderment when I was out hunting and got jumped. Ok, let's have a tussle. I lost, and got notified it was: This death was paid for by (Deucalion, the Righteous Fire).
Are writs recorded somewhere else? Is there notification that one has been hired on you for a writ? I searched my messages, but don't have anything, and there's nothing in my buffer since logging in (Mark said they were contracted today), and nothing there.
I died a bunch but far, far, far more importantly, I coerced convinced a random novice to help me with my black experiments, and found definite proof for something as a result!

City bounties are public matters, so you'll see them appear normally. However, note that there is no section saying * You have neither assassin nor champion actively pursuing contracts on you.
This is the case with all contracts and writs. You won't know it's there until you get killed. When Leviticus hired on me, I only knew about the contract because Shecks proposed to settle it with a duel, which I refused.

Yay for delegation anyway! You all have your work cut out for you, @Xinna, @Kresslack, @Taraza, @Elazar, @Saeva, @Ulrike, @Orzaansyn.

Seriously though, that is pretty damn awesome. I need to check to see if I have any tickets left...
