    I had a character who's name started with Ear- once, long ago. And I was constantly being sent tells of 'mutton' and so on. That was a really bad idea for a name, it turns out.

    I guess that's who most Americans associate the name with, but I'd agree @Eilona - I don't think it warrants namechange, it's a legit name!
    Certainly that's who Anedhel's comment and mine were referencing. For what it's worth, I also don't think it warrants a namechange; it's just hard to resist poking fun at that particular Fabio when the opportunity presents itself.
