(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
In some cases, Skype can add a serious advantage to raid situations. Sadly, this is why I don't really like it. If you're being stunned in a raid while in retardation and trying to get a party message out about being empressed/delivered/summoned out of it to live, then all you have to do is have that person in a Skype call and say "help". Bam, you're taken care of.
It kinda detracts from situations as a whole by using OOC methods to carry out IC actions. The only times I've ever been in a Skype call during a raid, it was us planning everything strategically in the beginning, then mostly silence with a few "Holy shit, did you see that?" in the middle. I distinctly remember numbing at one point and saying out loud, "Welp, I'm F$*KED."
P.S. - I was
Yeeeaahh... I know of a few games where OOC contact is heavily discouraged for exactly this reason: your character is ICly in trouble and nobody knows where they are and they can't get a message out, so ICly they should be effed. Using an OOC channel to get a rescue in a situation like that feels very cheaty to me.
Well, I've been in a small Skype group with @daklore and @iseria among others for around a couple of years now. I do have some other contacts in other games, but I don't really play Achaea anymore so it's used purely for OOC stuff.

I use skype, mostly just to talk to people about random crap. A few achaean group chats.
I recall trying to raid once while on a skype voice chat. It was bloody hilarious, but absolutely no benefit whatsoever. It just made us goad each other on, and end up cracking up laughing when we failed miserably. Good times.
I have an Achaea Skype...which I now mostly use to talk to a couple of real life friends because very few of my Achaea friends are around on Skype? Makes no sense. But I have a Skype. I mostly talk shit to @Razzlo when he hunts my spots and send hugs to @Leliel. It's aereidhna if anyone wants to chat.
I remember @Peak use to use have an Achaea Tinychat and would invite people to come chat and joke around while he half-afk forged. Didn't require any registering or signup and everyone could use text, voice, or video chat. I remember some interesting conversations coming from that site....ah, good times
You know, that one thing at that one place, with that one person.
If anyone even still looks at this, skype user over here is "tjsdaman" I shall add names because I literally have no achaean's skype other than old Turoi

If you add me just put your character name in the line so I know.
I don't add people I don't recognize usually.
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
the only achaean I talked to on Skype was @Orzaansyn. Then she stopped using it.
