I love @Proficy to death but he definitely shorthands all of his spelling. It makes me cringe, but technically it all "sounds" right, so I've never said anything about it.
I see @Florentino still has a chip on his shoulder though.

When I first saw this I assumed it was just a minor troll / joke - one that seems to have worked given the posts about it, lol. Florentino seems like a fun guy.

This is starting to border on creepy:

Where stile and bramble meet.
The noonday sun shines down, tinged grey by its passage through the thick clouds above. Far from the farm, thorn-laden brambles have grown into a tangled hedge that interposes between stretches of wooden fencing. A product of both natural and deliberate efforts, some attempt has been made to control the wayward bushes, as evidenced by the decapitated stumps that breach the boundary of arable land. What is left has largely thrived as a barrier impenetrable to all on foot. When in season, the bushes fruit colourfully, sometimes even producing unusual crop from the inevitable cross-pollination. Here and there, the unwelcome tendrils hold the remains of old nests and signs of thriving animal life with pellets abound the fertile soil. A red elm tree grows here, its branches gently swaying in the breeze. A low-slung myrrh bush is here. A selection of fruits dangles from nearby branches. Some vegetables have been planted here. A green-flowered ginseng plant has been planted here. A low-lying wild ginger plant is growing here. A lobelia wildflower is growing here. A purple coneflower grows here, its large stalk straining towards the sky. A sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. A ragged little doll lies forgotten on the ground.
You see exits leading north, west, and northwest.

This is my house. There are a number of outdoor garden rooms and for some reason, this is the 3rd or 4th time I've found this doll in it. It's part of a quest so it randomly repops anywhere in the city but this is just creepy. it's like she won't leave.

To be fair you'll pretty much never catch a serpent that doesn't want to be caught. Evade so strong. Best skill by far.
