I thought it might have been the admins forgetting to colour the block with glacier symbols but now @Synbios has me speculating it could be something much more EVIL and SINISTER and MYSTERIOUS. If it is just a crack like the ones you can see on Mero's Wilderness map — how is it we still can't fly over the things?
@Thaumas: I never thought to squint in the Wilderness, that would create some nasty spam on my screen…

@Wysteria: You can't fly over it because if you could, you'd be able to land on it.

In Meropis, it acts like the Wall of Power once did: it blocks us off from unbuilt areas. In northern Sapience, it's just a feature using the same style. Why can't we fly over the ocean? Why can't we fly up to the duanathar area? Take it with a grain of salt, a hand-wave, and copious swigs of make-believe.

Anyway, glacial ice sheets have a huge impact on the land. Saying that they "forgot to colour the block with glacier symbols" is really not giving them a lot of credit.

That's a bit a weird reaction, to be honest. It makes it sound like an IC concern, but "tricking me into accepting something because nobody reads that line anyways" is hardly an IC concern, and thus has little to do with "honour". Unless you are actually speaking of some OOC concept of honour which you like to apply in Achaea.
