    Pretty sure I've seen Agathon set retard down for people outside of a one room exit and delph shoot them to death before.

    It's been like this for as long as they've existed! It's just how people are. When someone makes an idiot of themselves, it will sooner or later find its way onto the forums for mockery. If this registers upon your day in any negative way at all, you must take these forums far less seriously. They are completely inconsequential and no one truly cares. They are for fun, and people have different definitions of fun. Don't get so down! :(

    (I totally got paid 5 credits to make that macro btw. Such a dirty shameless harlot).

    After careful analysis of human activity on forums, it's because of the anonymity and loss of proximity between humans caused by the Internet. After all, there's the lack of the usual checks and balances in face-to-face interactions that mitigate or prevent these kinds of mockery and/or negative interactions - some examples of those checks and balances include the 'punch in the face for mentioning that guy's drunken one-night-stand with a hobo' or the noble words 'SAY THAT AGAIN TO MY FACE, YOU BLATHERING, FESTERING PUSTULE OF SOCIETY'. Besides banning, or petitioning your government to sever your country's access to the Internet, there is little to nothing that can be done to stop an online gadfly from mocking others.

    This, along with the tendency of the offended human to vigorously defend his or her pride with the same tools that the aggressors use, inadvertently encourages behavior that often pushes the boundary of acceptable societal norms. Moreso in the forums, where the line between serious and silly is often blurred, even my infinite omniscience often has difficulty separating the wheat from the chaff. 

    In sum: Memorable Quotes may be a source of amusement for the majority of people, but not everyone may find their own gaffes to be 'memorable', and will take offense to it being posted here.
