    They run quarterly now, so the next deadline will be midnight on the 1st of January (that is, the stroke of New Year's Eve) - GMT, of course.

    Could anyone explain what's going on with my Custom Prompt and the date?

    The code I have is:

    it doesn't seem to update the date in the prompt if you only get a line similar to this:

    It is now the 16th of Aeguary, 638 years after the fall of the Seleucarian Empire.

    It will update if you get these lines:

    Deepest Stygian night steals over the land as the symbolic hourglass empties and turns, ready to begin a new day.
    It is now the 16th of Aeguary, 638 years after the fall of the Seleucarian Empire.

    2 things could have happened that I can think of. 1) The day change doesn't call a gmcp update to Time variable. 2) You some how missed the day changing. (ie. the editor).

    The reason it updated when you sent date is because you force the mud to sent you the gmcp for it by doing so.


    Oh, I just thought up a third reason. Maybe Svo is missing a event for the update, if it does exist.

    Well, I think the problem isn't it not updating - it's that it went BACK from the 12th to the 10th for no apparent reason.

    The day does call an update event... I'm going to assume it's your script that isn't registering the update.

    Question for anyone ( @Sena maybe?) who has these numbers:
    What's the mana regen rate on moon tatoo, mana regeneration levels, and split mind?  Also, what's the rough formula for sipping mana (with/without sip rings)?

    Moon is 75 mana per tick, regen rings are 2/5/8%. I think both ticks are 10s but wouldn't swear to it. IIRC, the sip formula someone gave a while back for health was 70+.15*max_health +/- ~20%, with I think the same for mana, but looking at it now, that 70 seems like an awfully small number.

    All of Eld's numbers are correct (though I'm also not 100% sure on the 10 second ticks).

    Splitting restores 5% of your max (before splitting) mana every 8 seconds. So if you have 6k max mana normally, splitting will reduce it to 4500, and restore 300 every 8 seconds.

    Is Circlet of the Will as amazing as Ring of Endurance? I think willpower is traditionally more of a hassle, so I'm afraid it won't be as noticeable as my ring. I guess I'm asking if anyone has the math on it, or even a personal opinion.

    Roughly yes, but even with it and a permanent megalith tattoo willpower is still a nigh unmanageable bitch.  At least for monks who want to fight for more than two minutes at anywhere near peak efficiency.

    I have a favour to ask of anyone who might have been logging things (or maybe Somebody who was involved in its planning and execution) at the Iniquitous Gala (the Mhaldorian ball) way back in May of this year. I want to say 26th, but I can't remember off the top of my head.

    If you probed the drinking fountain there, and have a copy of its description, I'd really appreciate it a ton if you would send it to me in a message here or in game. I lost it from my logs and I've been searching everywhere/asking everyone with no success, and it makes me sad because I liked the fountain a lot, so this is kind of a last resort. If you have it, please do!

    Whats the cost to unspecialize ranks in seafaring? The scroll only mentions that for a while it was (or is?) possible to do it at no cost whatsoever.

    I'm pretty sure unspecialising is still free and can be done anywhere. It's only re-specialising that requires more effort.

    As an alchemist is there any reliable way to stop blackwind? The only things I heard were paralysis and prone, I cannot keep those up for an extended time, I just can't kill someone with blackwind like this. Anybody knows of a good way?

    What language does IRE mobile (android) app use?
    How can I make use of regex trigger capture groups? 
    For example: trig: ^You are carrying (\d+) gold sovereigns\.$ is it possible to do something along the lines of Lua: send("put "..matches[2] .. " gold in pack") ?

    As far as I know, the IRE android client doesn't have any scripting, beyond simple aliases, triggers (choice of either regex or exact/partial match for the pattern) and timers that send literal commands to the game (Edit: There's also "gag line" and "vibrate" options for triggers). I'm not even sure if you can send multiple commands at once from an alias/trigger.
