I know you can tell if something is non-decay by probing it, but how do you tell if it's resetting? Will it (or should it) show up on ARTEFACT LIST?

You can tell if it resets to you by probing it. The last line will be something like "This item will reset to you." As far as I know there's no way to know if an item resets to another person, a specific location, etc.

I have some resetting items that don't have that line. Not artefacts, but things I bought resetting for specifically. I have other things I would like to buy resetting for, but can't remember (or determine yet) if I already have or not.

If they don't have that line I guess you'd need to file a BUG or ISSUE ME to get it sorted out because they should have it. All of the items I've made non-decay and resetting have that line when I probe them.

    I'll double check. Thanks.

  • Found an old Character:

    3611h, 2898m, 15800e, 14645w ex-retire value
This character is not eligible for retirement. You would need to increase its worth by 294 credits.
    3611h, 2898m, 15800e, 14645w ex-

If i buy 300cr (not the no brainer), Does this mean I will retire him with 500cr available?

    (Party): Mezghar says, "Stop."

No, it's roughly 50% of credits bought, but there are a lot of caveats to what is counted and is not.
  • From what I know, unbound credits count as 100%, and bound credits/lessons count as 50%. So yes, in that scenario, I believe you'd get at least 500 in retirement value. Maybe you can issue yourself to ask, though?

I thought that no brainer didn't count.
I am retired and log into the forums maybe once every 2 months. It was a good 20 years, live your best lives, friends.

No, when it says you need 294 credits to retire, you need 294 credits to retire. In this case, buying 300 credits(no no-brainer credits) should let you retire it for ~500 credits. I did this to retire old alts to make this character, I had no problems with it.
  • Where did @Vender go :(

  • Does the Troll racial "Chance to stun on blunt attacks." work with PK? Monks, Dual Blunt Knights, other blunt things I don't know of, etc ?
  • It only works for attacks on other adventurers. I don't think the proc chance is that high though, so the majority of the time it's not really going to be a factor at all.

It use to be horrible to fight a troll monk because each hit (so 3 per combo) had a chance to proc, the proc chance was much higher, and the stun was so long.
You know, that one thing at that one place, with that one person.

    Yea, that one!

Was really popular when Blademaster came around, too, working off of Strike Sternum.

Strength or Dexterity, which is more suitable for S&B?

  • Dexterity does absolutely nothing, except give a minor increase to dodge chance, for any class that isn't Serpent. Take strength.
