Rant: People who give me the go ahead, and encourage me to play Nasus jungle when they have no idea how the champ, in that role works... Yeah, they need to be shot.
>310 Q stack at 18min and even got first blood when Vi tried to take my red... ->Got 6 and took Drag at 7min, 13 min and 19min...
PLOT TWIST: Mid and Top were both 0-5 with zero wards.
The best of the best of Bronze VII. Regularly featuring games below 500 elo(lowest I've seen is 97 elo). No making fun of the players, though. Chat has strict rules, and most people are pretty chill and are watching for a good time and joking around about the play in game.
And yes, apparently sub-100 elo exists...

So was playing with some friends in a premade 5v5.......we ended up getting matched with another premade team which was all diamond and platinum. We couldn't get a single kill. It was so painful.
What @Mishgul said. Using my sisters old account to play Oceanic. Most of these people are higher than my NA account actual MMR wise, since playing with @Thiev who's gold... The trashtalking is insane, especially when they see they lost to a bronze 3 person.
What I tend to sing while watching saltyteemo... o/` Can't beat my, can't beat my, no they can't beat my hurricane o/` ... what? I'm trying to think of a reason why so many seem to take a hurricane.

Ok, I've been convinced to try LoL again, thanks to @Carmain, who convinced me by saying that he'd play a few matches with me.
I tried DOTA 2 and had a little bit of fun, learned what it meant to 'push a lane' or get a 'last hit'. I'm still a newb, but I got an inkling, and it made the genre interesting again. So, I have played a scant few games and have bought Dr. Mundo (whom I like a lot, even though I have to learn to play him better) and Ryze (cause I figured he would be a standard ranged character, haven't done much on him). I won't lie, a part of myself wants to play games JUST so I can buy all of the champions, without regard to whether or not I'll actually use them. Since I have learned that you can turn chat off, I haven't had many problems with the playerbase, but I've only played co-op versus bots on beginner, and the scene might change when I go full pvp and have to turn chat back on. My sincere hope is that I can just get on skype or raidcall with folks instead, but we'll see if that's possible when I get a group of people to play with.
I anyone wouldn't mind helping me learn here and there, I'd be glad to add you as a contact. My account name is Picosal.
You don't need to turn chat on at all. @Erasariel often mutes everyone and gets through the game just fine. Since the introduction of smart pings, it's soooooo much easier to communicate with the team. "I'm on my way here." "Help needed here." "Enemy is missing." "Get this mutha frakka!"
Once you get used to smart pings, you don't need chat at all. Hell, I rarely use chat in my games... I don't mute anyone, but I still hardly use it.

I play with a friend and we're both in raidcall together. I say it's fun because if we want to say toxic things about the other people, we can and it vents our frustration. Skype seems to drop me from calls, so I don't use it any more. But yeah, ignoring the chat in pvp is a good idea - learn to do the pings and everything works. I occasionally do a set of pings and let people know that "x is inc" so they know to watch out.
If you're playing with a premade team, communication is especially helpful. I usually play with a premade and we have a Vent server we use, which makes things a lot more coordinated. Also, our load screen conversations are very entertaining.
Just tried my first One For All game. We were Lux, they were Heimerdinger. Final score was 74-28. It was ridiculous and totally unorganized and incredibly fun. Lasers EVERYWHERE!
new league is so weird. What is the point of support supports now. Can build proper tanks or AP nukers in the support role and they will get tonnes of gold from "support" items an masteries and just get fed by right clicking people.
The sweeper totem thing is OP.

edit: Pinging the fuck out of things tends to work just as well as talking. More amusing, too.
