That's probably the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Hitting guarding is RNG from missing swk or a necessity/eventuality if you're a knight or any other limb class.
And then dies because Kai Heals while prone with no broken limbs off 2 BBT's from guarding. Honestly, it's not hitting guarding. It's how you pick the moments carefully that you may hit guarding and then how you react in the case that you do hit it.
Arguing that guarding isn't a stupid mechanic (especially when factoring in arties) is fairly stupid.
Regardless of this instance, the idea that a knight should not be able to target limbs against a monk without risking a free prone into tribreak is hilarious. Guard should dismount and not prone. Yes its a nerf, and a completely reasonable one.
@Valaine: There is nothing whatsoever wrong with Proficy's salve priorities. He simply doesn't account for the possibility of a prompt coming between the arm break and the leg break, and presends restoration on the first prompt (which means its too late when the leg break came). This is something which can be said for the majority of Achaea.

He went to cure his head before trying to cure his legs. I know about the delay in break combo thing, but he also did not even try to tumble. Saying that 3 axekicks in that scenario is impressive is just wrong.
I have no problem with that Guarding nerf to Mounted opponents, but saying that it's inavoidable is also just wrong. How incredibly slow compared to Knight/BM is Tekura? I'm sure you understand.

Going to go out on a limb here (lol) and say that you
a) don't seem to understand the options available to monk to stay in room and survive damage,
b) and what negates those options
c) the amount of damage monks take especially when prone and from an artied monk and
d) neither do you seem to realise the tumble time on 2 and 4 mangled limbs, firstly tumbling on the break? he would have died from damage alone, numbing was a good option, after the numb, tumbling with 4 mangled? Pure suicide.
Yes his priorities were messed up, but things like that you never notice unless you have been in this situation before.
I'm going to walk away from this conversation with 2 fingers up noting that the only thing impressive about this whole scenario is your ignorance.
Tumble after first break and would have survived. Axekick combo balance is pretty damn long, and the only damage in between that is punches, he could have tumbled out forcing Jarrel to lose stance, Kai Heal'd because of the doublebreak and being behind on salve balance, and then stood up safe and sound with a couple transmutes. I know this isn't particularly viable in this case considering he applied restoration to head before freeing up his crippled arm and applying to legs, but that's a result of poor curing: Not the "Skill" employed, which is what I am arguing against! It's very possible to not target and prone in the same attack and recover balance before the Monk does. By the way, I'm not suggesting Guarding isn't overpowered, just that in its current incarnation it isn't as bad as people make out, and it is definitely viable to bypass it for every class that would have a trouble with Guarding.
Valaine arguing with two of Achaea's arguably best combatants would be enough to make me chortle, if I wasn't so nervous about the movement causing me to upchuck all this turkey.
It's funny because you're completely wrong about what would have happened provided Proficy put up an actual defence and not kept himself on the floor with broken arms(one of which could have been cured instantly leaving him only 1s behind on salve bal) and behind on salve balance with two broken legs. Your 4 axk's and Proficy's death was a result of his poor curing (Sorry Prof, but you gotta admit!) and not because of your "Skill".
Btw, I'm not saying you aren't good, Jarrel. Just that what you did here was not as impressive as your friends are trying to infer for all of the (true) reasons I have pointed out.

The first combo broke two limbs, extending tumble, which would make that extremely unlikely in the first place. However:
