@Iocun are you sure you had no torso damage? Because, I have about the same amount of health as you do, plus high cutting/low blunt armour, and ofc scales. And I can tank his bbt fine. Granted, I need to gtfo asap if he gets a break on me, because I'll die if I hang around for even one more combo afterwards...but thats still tanking. Even his axekick I can take, barely

He said he was sure he didn't have lvl 2 torso, almost certainly had lvl 1. 85% bbt with level 1 torso from Denex is believable, I think.
Someone post a popcorn gif, we have us a true Bad Guys Soap(tm).

Thanks, babe. Knew you'd come in handy one day for something.

@Iocun -- That jumpkick busted your torso to level 2, as well as proning you to dismount and breaking your leg, allowing for a single Level 2 Torso BBT plus the jumpkick damage.
I've been doing a lot of thinking regarding that situation and our discussion afterwards, I think I have a solution that might help you -- contact me in game!
EDIT: I've never been able to get a L2 Torso Break + BBT off on you, @Antidas. You're so dang elusive that the second you show up, you hit Targ Defendable and yank my ass. I've got to get some deep ambush guerilla warfare on you to kill you.
On the bright side, http://pastebin.com/f3KBrQUp makes me smile a little bit even still considering just how much work that took to finally hit.

Level 2? With six hook punches, two of which were unstanced? When it took the same amount of hammerfists to break a leg? Unless there's some factor that boosts hkp limb damage a lot without affecting any other tekura attacks, I very much doubt that.
If it was indeed level 2 damage for some reason, I'd be super happy, as it would only take adjusting a number in a single trigger to ensure it could never happen to me again! Alas though, I fear a different approach will be required.

I guess it's worth noting that it turned out to be a terminology issue with the Level 1 versus Level 2.
I've always viewed Level 1 breaks to require just mending, 2 breaks as requiring restoration, Level 3 requiring two applications of restoration.
That jumpkick broke your torso to a level 2, as well as your leg to a level 2, proning and allowing a single BBT. The only way around that is more health, side from resetting your limb somehow.
It's also important to note that I've got something like 27,000cr in artifacts, traits, racial specialization, house icon, and true favors pressing all into Tekura that allow me to perform that one skilltree exceptionally well. And as Iocun put it, "Only missing the staff of nicator!"

Yeah but how many of those 27,000cr went towards your tekura damage output? How many credits, then, has Iocun spent on defensive artefacts and time and effort bashing for health. No matter what you say, it isn't reasonable.
But hey, not everyone wants to practise and get skilled at a txt pvp, so buy your way to victory. Go for it. It's what almost everyone else did
Well... Gauntlets are 2500, knuckles are 1600, armband (if you bother) is 1000. That's at most only 5100 credits of that ~27000 that contribute to Tekura damage output. A full set of defensive artefacts would cost you 2000 for sip ring, 2000 for belt, 850 for health regen and 1400 for bracelets. That's 6250.

I was very skeptical about @Denex because I had read things about him on the forums and heard from people in game that his ARTEFACTS LIST had like 3 pages of MORE.
So I started interacting with him both IG and somewhat OOC. He knows monk extremely well, and his reasoning/justification/whateveryouwannacallit for such a ridiculous amount of artefacts is quite contrary to "buying his way to victory" as you say. I've locked Denex with no diadem and no arte dirk in about 12 seconds. I'm sure he could kill the crap out of me without any artefacts too. So assuming anyone who has more money for text toys than you has no skills is a pretty jaded view.
Yeah, but the point is that the pet can force jpk spam in contrast to other, potentially even more hurtful tactics (which may, for instance, rely on being stanced).
@Strata is pretty freaking adept at demolishing me in the arena if I don't burst him quickly. So is @Santar, or @Icaru, or a lot of folk. Hell, even in our last two fights, @Antonius blew me out of the water.
I welcome non-artifact spars as I really don't have to rely on them to win. They just make it way easier to do so.
I by no means am unbeatable. I get the rage, to an extent @Jovolo... but out of all the artifacts, I have just as many defensive ones as offensive. I went forever getting steamrolled, and am still often bested on a regular basis by individuals who have advantages based on class alone. I can't remember the last time I beat a decent Magi in a square fight, for instance.
I am flattered you make me out to be apparently Achaea's Chuck Norris though.
It all comes down to class versus class in elaborately complex game of Rock Paper Scissors. It's just that I have enough artefacts and levels to be really, really good at smashing scissors.
