He got hit by 6 people while at 50% health, no timestamps, though. 6 people can easily do 150% of someone's health. Truename alone does 45% or so (or more if you have a lot of artifacts).
The only issue I see here is soulspear is ridiculous.
I messaged @Tecton a month ago telling that people that aren't chivalry/subterfuge users were hitting 100% with artefact bows, when back before the recent trait system, it was only like 50% accuracy.
It's silly for every class to be able to pay 350 credits for a level 1 bow and hit 100% of the time. It makes it where there's no advantage to being a legitimate bow-using class.
He sent me a message back saying that he wasn't aware of any changes to bow-shooting and that he'd look into it, but pretty sure he didn't. I know for a fact that artefact bows used to miss a good deal of the time if you weren't a Knight/Serpent, so it was kind of an abrupt, unannounced change that had a major effect on the game.
Even before I took marksman trait, I was hitting 100% with my bow while in dform. Would be 100% in favour of giving archery back to the archery classes by nerfing un-classed archers.
The primary reason that LoS is used so much, and so effective in modern achaea is precisely because of that ninja change to bow accuracy.
And to be clear on my post - I don't think line of sight archery is overpowered, I just think too many people in the game are getting unrestricted access to it.
I wasn't talking about the Fitz log. I didn't even see it.
If you don't think artie bows are equally ridiculous, youuuuu might be a redneck.
There are lots of things I think are ridiculous, lupines fit that category. Soulspear is way worse, though: higher damage, impale, hinder for more LOS, chance of shudder... compared to that, lupines are tame. If you have arrowcatch, anyway.
You gasp and clutch at your throat as an unseen force crushes the breath of life out of you.
As the force subsides, you struggle to shake the smirking visage of Azuhi from your mind.

Flying above Astride a massive dune.
Glittering wildly, the sand has collected here in a massive wave formation, the smooth, untouched sides reflecting the light with great intensity. Intermittently, like a sheet of ice breaking loose, the entire side of the dune shudders and begins to fall, spilling the fine granules in a shower of gold and silver. Sweeping towards the apex of the dune, the occasional head of some grotesque gargoyle emerges from the shifting sand, often accompanied by the jutting remains of an old, long-lost battlement to either side. Fiery red eyes focused on the horizon, a fierce black wyvern rustles his leathery wings in anticipation of his next hunt. A noble falcon soars on the thermal currents. Stretching its wings in an impressive display is an ebony pegasus, its dark coat absorbing the surrounding light. Icaru Vastel is here, shrouded. He wields a Shield of Absorption in his right hand.

Yep, there is a bug with accuracy being too high stemming from the artefact system changeover (which wasn't a change in the accuracy code, just an odd stacking issue with the way the system looks at the items themselves) - *EDIT:* It's now fixed.

I know, I can see you through my window.. at least you're a little more discreet these days and not breaking into my house to roll around on my bed when I'm not home.
Still 19/23 arrows hit with no subterfuge/chivalry in my first test.
Lupine bow + marksman trait.
The accuracy rate used to be around 50% for even level 3 bows(not sure if level of artefact bow makes a difference). Now based on that brief test it's about 83%. That's pretty solid accuracy for someone that doesn't have the class skill.
A step in the right direction, but unclassed bow wielders are still way stronger than they were 9-10 months ago.
@Santar: What would be the expected accuracy of a non-subterfuge/chivalry person with an artie bow and marksman trait?
If it were me sticking a number to it, I'd say 60% with marksman trait, 50% no marksman.
I think Knights and Serpents should hit 100% of the time with darkbows with no obstruction though. Pains me to see Knights missing shots when they have the class skill.
The state of the game was getting pretty ridiculous with virtually everyone having incredibly high accuracy. Specifically Magi's that were partying up with 100% accuracy into retardation.
It was really de-valuing Serpents, and to a lesser extent, Knights. If anyone can pay some credits to get the main skirmish/raid skill of a class, then what's the point of being that class? I'm fine with artefact bows being a thing for all classes, but back in the old days they were balanced out by not being -nearly- as reliable as classed shooting. I hope it goes back to that way. The change here was a good start, and my sources tell me it may be looked at more soon.
