    You get to kill them 6 times instead of once. Who cares if a couple of your people die, any reasonably leveled person is going to come out mega negative, experience wise. And that's the point of pk, make your enemies lose as much xp as possible.

    Since people in Achaea only lose when they decide to lose, I always end up agreeing with Zeon's "Just make them lose experience" comments despite the fact he might actually be trolling.

    Nope, you can unwield and put your sword away while someone's impaled on it. I'm pretty sure I've seen this brought up, so it's probably been bugged, but I'd forgotten about it. What I want to know is why you unwielded to begin with.

    Edit: I guess so you can do it while gripping?

    @Eld yes, for gripping. I bugged it and my bug was deleted for 'duplication' so they already know about it. I trigger to sheathe on writhe, but I didn't account for them already being impaled by soulspear. Gotta fix that, and work on catching when they die while impaled. Ugh, so much to script.

    Never did find a use for gripping that wasn't just as well served by a fist sigil.

    Use both. Gripping can be stripped, and the message for fist sigils decaying can be missed in spam.

    Not sure I see how forcing sheathe would've been a helpful thieving strategy, anyway, but it's moot now. As for using both gripping and fist sigils, I get the rationale, I've just never seen it as worthwhile for blademasters. Since we have to have our swords sheathed to attack at all, and the fraction of time they spend out of their scabbards and at risk of being knocked out of our hands is so small anyway, the benefit just doesn't seem to outweigh the inconvenience.

    I used to use gripping as a defense to be stripped but then I found I had more problems with my automated sheathing because I had to drop gripping and then sheathe. Became alot easier to just never use gripping instead.

    But I suck at coding so.


    Actually I just noticed I had a trigger to sheathe sword sheathe bow unwield left unwield right.I made it  incase I was wielding something for some reason when I went to attack someone. Very rarely while wielding my sword this would fire and i'd get balance back when the sheathe left/right went into mudlet, causing me to unwield my sword. I had thought fist sigils were just a high chance and not 100% until I saw the message of me unwielding and figured out what was going on since I didn't expect the script to not sheathe my sword and instead unwield my sword.

    Forcing sheathe/put has more affect on knights and other constant-wielders. Like I said, remnant of old theft. My force-sheathe alias unwields both hands and puts in scabbard, both to get around gripping and in case I was on bomb duty. Also, like I said, because I'm having difficulty tracking when they die while impaled. Don't remember why I did it against Penwize, think I was being focused by LoS or something. Whatever. More logs.
