    I loaded the backup I had. I promise you that it was the same one from before the bukkit stuff. Let's see what it looks like.

    Edit: Alright. I just tested. No clue why, but we have the old spawn. I'm going to just generate a completely new one. Sorry everyone. @Jacen I'll give you some netherbrick to replace all the ones that you are losing.

    Ok...what the heck. I deleted the nether folder and it generated the exact same one with all the old map storage boxes and all...WTH.

    Lol really doesn't matter much I guess, aside from losing the tunnels/paths like Jarrod said. I don't really like the look of nether brick anyways.

    I'm asking on the bukkit forums for some help, because I removed the nether files (I thought). We'll see though.

    @Kazu dunno. I doubleclick the icon, minecraft doesn't even open. I've uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times.

    @Daslin Stuff you should check:

    1. Go to start and search for the %APPDATA% folder. Delete all the minecraft stuff.
    2. Make sure you have the latest version of java installed.
    3. Try to run the program as an admin.
    4. Pray to your chaotic gods.

    I strongly suggest looking at java if you've updated/installed it lately. I had a bad java install when I reset my laptop to factory settings and it took me hours before I finally figured out what was wrong.

    I mean, we can reset if you get everyone to agree, but this is a fairly new map. Or we could try Tekkit if you guys want to do that, but I have no experience with playing it. Looks pretty neat though.

    Tekkit looks cool, I'm onboard. Also approve of a reset if we just go that direction.

    Only problem with Tekkit is it's running on 1.52.

    I'll give examples, with the Mystcraft mod you can literally make pocket dimensions purely for your own needs, so you can make a small "altar" on the main world, with the book inside to take anybody who touches it to the writer's fortress world. Buildcraft further expands the vast freedom in the mystcraft worlds, Galacticraft is just awesome ROCKETSHIPS. Need I go on?

    Well, I dunno much about Tekkit tbh. I'd just miss some stuff like coloured glass and the new biomes. I don't even really remember what has been put in since 1.5 @Tharvis
