Hey Thanks, glad you like it @vender. Haven't done printing before. I could actually take a class on printmaking, now that you mention it it could be fun, but i'm not sure if I could squeeze it in at this point.
Also I forgot I never showed off my second one in that style, but using SVG instead of digital painting. some of the filters could have come out a little bit cleaner, but i'm pretty satisfied.
Not drawn by me, but commissioned Akri and her Baalzadeen! Honestly the artist drew it awesome enough that I'm almost rethinking using them as disposable batteries.
I commissioned this a few weeks ago, when the world was a very different place. Thanks to a wonderful artist, I've had something to look forward to. She really captured the Apostate and the Infernal. I can't recommend her enough, or her amazing use of colour.
I've been having fun with Achaea, so I decided to get a picture of Meriet... Here's the tired sickly corpsedwarf in all her glory, with Reigning Dragon at her side. @Adirosette on Twitter did this for me.

I’m going to start sending meriet mhun steaks to help her iron deficiency.
so, I have about three weeks right now with a lighter course load before my summer job and/or internship. Was wondering if there was any interest in commissions- Achaean or otherwise. I'm pretty versatile in media and subject matter. I won't do digital paint (because I'm too new to that) or oil paint (putzy and expensive) or anything like. Lewd. But beyond that, basically the world is your oyster. If you are interested, send me a message on forums, or if you use an Achaea discord server with me in it, discord works too. Please don't ask with in game messages, its easier to keep track and also to send sketches in other formats.
Been working on stabilizing(?) my art style, and just the process I do things, so I can... just get better Anywho, if Ryssa were to be the Psion poster child. Still no info page on Psions on the website, need more Psion representation.
Maybe not the best spot for this, but what is expected of somebody who asks for commissions? Like, in game, my character description is relatively sparse because 1) long descriptions sometimes don't even get read and 2) the readers imagination is better than anything I could verbally craft. But, this obviously becomes an issue when I say 'draw me please' and the artist comes up with something different than my mind's eye.
If anybody has experience with this dm me, I wanna maybe get something commissioned soon (forums picture is just me trying to be 'casual modern pirate type' and not exactly what Rackham looks like to me.)

So, just as a person who generally commissions .. It all really depends on the artist! If you are a bit worried about it, I will say that the person I usually get art of Adrik from is really chill with text descs. They also stream so you can watch it in the process of being made so you can voice input on things you really like vs what you imagined a little differently.
Generally speaking, if you're going with a text description for your first piece of art of a character, I would absolutely give a nice tip to the artist. Even more so if you like it a lot. The best thing about it is, even if it's not exactly to your liking, if you get a second piece of a character, you can ask for those specific changes that you disliked with the first piece.
DM me if you want the contact deets for the artist I usually go to.
Like @Adrik stated, depends on the artist! When I receive commissions, I do some sketches, send to the patron, and work together along the way to get as close as possible to the mental image. Though, I can be a bit slow cause of that, and my style is only finally settling to a place where I'm happy. But there are many talented artist on this thread! And they know many more, I'm sure
Text or verbal descriptions are the norm for me as an artist. I ask lots of questions when I'm drawing a person, and check in with a sketch before I use color. I dunno how other people work.
also damn @Ryssa, the recent art is so good! (and not just because I'm a sucker for fun uses of light) I have loved watching your skill evolve over the last year or so.
I'm not able to play as much as before, and not visiting the forums as oft either, still doing artsy things, and I'll reach out to those who wanted commissions in time. Sorry for any disappointment caused. Meanwhile, here's some Ryssa art, if a lil dated now
Action pose study, more dagger drawing
Wing and outfit tests, a lil unfinished. Started with a tunic idea, now tis changed, as one will know. It's more the top right one now.
I dunno when or where Ryssa would wear this outfit, but I like it.
After an extended period tweaking Eoka's appearance to find a desc I really like, I finally settled on her look and had some art commissioned. I'm so happy with how this turned out and especially with how the artist interpreted her armor!
In a searing rush of flame, a glowing metal tank radiating waves of heat ignites to form a raging inferno.
The flames subside to leave the massive form of a magma leech in their wake.
Steam rises in foul-smelling clouds from the body of an odious magma leech. Writhing and trembling as it rolls about on the ground, its great bulk swells and a high-pitched keening escapes its tooth-

Reyson, Stheno, and her daemon in the Black Cathedral. More Baalzadeens, more!
Reaching down with a massive hand, Sartan lifts your head and draws a taloned finger across your throat, the wound closing as He does so.

And no fan girling occurred as I drew this >.>
And her sword, that's pretty cool
Disappearing from Achaea for now. See you, space cowboy.
smileyface#8048 if you wanna chat.
Do not DM on forums unless you're ok with waiting a couple months!

Got some new art of Adrik. I really like this kind of cartoonish style.
This makes me wish I could actually draw!

I got it done sticker-style:
