Depthswalkers get some benefit (other than dodging) from dex, that's the only dex-related thing I can think of from the past 3 years. It's not enough of an effect to actually spec dex though.
As I teased at a few days ago (and now updated for recent events), we're at about 50% of the build release and maybe 35% of the development team effort live so far. Tomorrow is going to be pretty great!
Just to explain why the difference in style is so different between the two, when first coming up with the Tash'la years ago, I had a couple different artists work on them, with one doing the male and the other doing the female. I personally prefer the style of the male, but to each her own! Never thought we'd actually release Yggdrasil after the project initially fizzled, but super glad @Nicola, @Makarios, and @Ictinus got it out and did such an amazing job fleshing it out!
Also, one salient detail you might take away from these two is that female tusks point kind of down and inwards whereas male tusks point kind of outwards and upwards.

I cannot help but now wonder, Sarapis, what other races you have tucked away, waiting to be unveiled
not to take away from all the work you guys put in but this race boars me and but it is amazing how little cons it has, when is there going to be a rat race? not that I'm not enjoying the one going on right now

You haven't even seen all that will be part of Yggdrasil yet!
(Though I don't think there'll be another new race as part of it.)
Also, just to be clear, while I initially conceived of the project, I have had literally nothing to do with the effort by the current admin team to pick up the project again and get it over the finish line, so don't take my word for it. I'd say 95% of the work on Yggdrasil, at least, was done this year, by them, without me. Pretty much all I did was initially plan it out, lay out the trunk and some empty branches (and I don't even know if they kept that work), have some artwork done (which you haven't seen all of yet) and recruit some people to build a few areas, before the whole effort fizzled out 2-3 years ago.
Although I believe they'll be adding to Yggdrasil at least one major area I had conceived of being there, Yggdrasil in all its finally-built glory is very much the current admin team's project and all glory for it goes to them. Ideas are easy and that's pretty much all I did with it. Execution is where the hard work is. (They contributed plenty of ideas to the project too, from big to small, for the record. My original plans did not include players becoming elemental lords, for instance, which I think is fantastic idea as well as a heck of a lot of work.)
On the 'races in our pocket' tip, I can show you a race we'll likely never offer, but we had concepted at one point while considering it (and I kind of hate the concept art for it frankly). Teth'vakha. This art should in no way whatsoever be considered canon. I'm sharing it as I think you guys will find it interesting, but it's a rejected concept that didn't make it into the world, rather than part of Achaea.
Unrelated, but I found the Yggdrasil to be a very nice way of implementing 'space travel' without having to introduce spaceships. The fact that Yggdrasil seems to have no 'physical limit' makes introducing new planets(and by extension, new shiny areas) easier to implement.
