Why do people call everything that goes against the Coalition a "temper tantrum"? How about fun conflict starting, consistent with the RP politics taking place and the fact that we all hate each other IC?
People have conflicting interests IG that don't disappear just because a different enemy is invading. Seems reasonable to me.
No salt. I'm delighted to have a more varied group to fight. Doesn't change the impression of 'ugh, so unfair, we've been tilting things in our favour the whole time and we still didn't finish fight'
He is a coward who has to bring two friends as backup to jump people hunting.

Nobody has finished first yet, though... and many factions are taking action to try to ensure their own orders are able to complete shrines most efficiently. Deucalion's order started donating to Aurora. Pandora's order negotiated with the Nihilists and Ryldagh declared that Ashtan would support one order at a time in a specified order. Mhaldor doesn't have multiple divine to help each other out, so they split so they could steal from other turns to get more splinters for themselves.
All of these are logical and interesting responses, to me.
I get your point @Farrah but the idea that 'oh, we just realised we hate you' was the reasoning isn't really what happened here.
I mean, immediately, accusations of theft and dishonesty came floating about, finger pointing and hissy fits.
I appreciate that the political RP hasn't ever stopped, but it was all well and good while it looked like it was working in Sartan's favour, as soon as it was obvious that they hadn't gamed it enough the plug was pulled.

Right, but that's the definition of serving their own interests, not throwing a tantrum. I'm not suggesting that Sartan's shrine being behind wasn't a major reason for their departure. I'm just saying that's a legitimate reason for them to leave. It's not "bullshit" or a "tantrum." It's a faction playing the game.
Calling it a tantrum on forums makes it seem like you think they went out of character because they were OOCly upset.

That's not even close to what actually happened. There were no "hissy fits", any finger pointing done was intentional to create distrust in the coalition.
Mhaldor got approached by a Sartan denizen 3 rl days ago that boiled down to "why are you in the coalition? Find a way out". Taraus and I have spent the last several days taking little baby steps so that leaving the coalition wasn't seen as something that was done for 0 reason.
But sure, Xaden, it was a hissy fit cause I didn't get my way!
Heralded by a subtle tinkling of bells and the heady scent of halfnog, you realise you have been sent a gift.
This birthday cake may be a little generously sized for one. Though a scant two inches high and four inches across, the crumb is extremely moist and full of rich chocolate flavour. A layer of dark chocolate ganache has been carefully poured across and smoothed to leave a glossy finish. Against this midnight background, someone has taken care to meticulously ice the words "Happy Birthday" in bright red butter cream.

Fastest route to frustration when running events is to try to make the players do what you want. I'm not prepared to believe the producers would let someone touch an event of this scale without having the experience to figure that out. Look at the twists and turns that past events like the vertani took due to the unexpected actions of players. They initiated unplanned storytelling and game features alike.
Some people wanting out of the huge group is perfectly understandable and acceptable. Can just say you wanted out and nobody would be mad. Maybe a couple of people would, but a couple of people would be mad if you gave them everything they wanted anyway.

I'm confused. Are you saying Cooper was lying about the denizen, or lamenting that it happened that way?
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
It's very likely the admin had been watching key Mhaldorians and knew we wanted out, and gave us the direction we needed to do it without feeling stupid. I appreciated that.
@Atalkez I was saying that the story seemed difficult to believe and supplying reasons for why, but he offered a reason for it to make sense in the last comment.
@Cooper I hadn't considered the possibility of Mhaldor largely WANTING out because my impression was that Mhaldor was enjoying it and Targossas wanted out.

I imagine both camps wanted out. It's a hard pill to swallow based on history. Not as hard as Aegis embracing slith after the underworld thing... But hard non the less. (I also have a son... Yeah no shit... Remember who stole your children????)

The Father of the Dwarves is Lord Phaestus. The Dwarves are infamous alcoholics. Therefore, the Patron of inebriation must be Lord Phaestus. Glory be unto Him!
Came to rave about all the action we've been getting both during shardfalls and in between, especially with Ashtan (@Jhui@Dunn@Seragorn and everyone else). You guys are super fun, even though I've died a bajillion times. And rave to @Farrah for putting up with my endless questions and general harassment.

I'm not calling OOC bullshit here, I'm commenting on IC decisions.

Yeah! Where's our denizen?
I WAS SO CONFUSED BY THAT DIALOGUE.
A Blackstone swordsman says, "I just wish they would let us teach those Brawlers some manners."
@Emilea sorry you got stuck there for 45 min...
