Why would people complain about Xenomorph? He's great.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
Rave: I found the Belladona thing very lulzy. Was actually a lot of fun trying to lead her away. much lol in the guise of being super serious about this task.
all my effort spent leading her from mhaldor to shallam, and then sacrificing myself at shallam defendable to make sure she stayed there, all for naught? im sad now

The meddling kids and their little dog too strike again!
@Tanris, for welcoming me into Ashtan personally. I'm really excited.
@Trey, for educating me on the finer points of weaponry.

Man, this event is like the Achaean version of some super tragic Asian epic drama.
You know, the kind where every episode someone dies or the protagonist can't make it through 45 minutes without suffering soul-shattering abuse or tragedy. I don't even need my drama fix while this is going on >_>
I'm almost hoping that the Gods who got 'killed/eaten' don't come back. Nothing personal, just my dislike of narrative reset buttons.

Then you'll probably turn into a singularity of depression if you watch any of our Filipino telenovelas(which seem to follow the done-to-death plot of 'poor girl gets abused by rich jerkass woman for no reason than for drama, only to be the focus of two dashing gentlemen of different social strata'). Believe me - you can watch the 3:00pm telenovela, go to sleep, then watch the 8:00pm telenovela and you will hardly notice the difference.
According to Cracked.com, watching sad movies makes you happier. Therefore if I watch all the telenovelas back to back, I may reach a level of happiness so high that I may die and reach Nirvana.

Either that or be rendered brain dead. >_>
In that case, I suspect that may be the reason Filipinos were once considered some of the the happiest people in the world.
On the other hand, the crappy quality of our telenovelas may also be the reason why many Filipinos aren't faring just as well in test scores, though.

I remember that time when I was sick and quarantined in a room with nothing but a TV without cable for entertainment. Saw a couple of episodes of that local adaptation of Zorro. Not quite the mind-crushing depression there...instead we got a cartoon villain who used a mind control powder to--I kid you not--ensure that his circus becomes the biggest in the whole area...then there was the rhino...

"Faded away like the stars in the morning, Losing their light in the glorious sun, Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling, Only remembered for what we have done."
I just want to send Mhaldor a rave. I'm very impressed that none of you have complained (too much) about the amount of raids going on against you. Through this event, you've more or less become Sapience's punching bag, and you are taking it with dignity. Thank you, for being so cool about it.
ETA: I am clearly watching the wrong Korean dramas. The worst I got was a girl who was in love with two princes and couldn't decide which one she was in love with.

I would argue that this is why most people who are in Mhaldor signed up for it to begin with. I definitely do not have one of the most combat-oriented characters in Achaea but this is my response to missing the huge raids:
(OOC clan): Kaevan says, "I missed everything AGAIN?!" (IC clan): Kaevan says, "It appears that I am once again late to the festivities."
When we have clear direction from the folks upstairs, a villainous role, and violence to do most of Mhaldor is happy.

Quoting Kaevan's post for emphasis. Mhaldor is -the- most enjoyable place in the game for general RP when granted active Divine. I'm doubly blessed in that department, having @Phaestus as well, who is by far and wide the most active and engaging of any of the Gods, at least insofar as visible interaction goes.
I have to second @Lucine on this one. I've been at work most of the time watching the deaths on my toolbar, I'm loving how much excitement Mhaldor is getting right now, and the general enthusiasm of almost every Mhaldorian on the forums. That city definitely needed some love.

Did they storm off and found two opposing cities that would, over time, develop opposing worldviews and theological positions because of her inability to commit?
I guess my lit teacher was right when she said there was no such thing as an original story.

Loling from @Lys aside, we do have an ongoing K-Drama showing in the Philippines(dubbed in Filipino, of course) called Two Wives. I'm starting to think that the Koreans are competing with the Filipinos for the title of 'Most Soul-Crushingly Depressing Drama EVER'.

"Slowly disappear. Never really here."

One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important

I've got no raves just yet. Still trying to figure out what to do with myself.
Come join the Achaea discord!
