    I figured as much. just saw all the news from all over and though to myself: This makes me feel like I am watching a Tarantino film. You can never count on any character not dying.

    Not that I dislike the idea, it does make the world feel more alive, more dynamic and more vivid. Just do not kill off Sarapis as a character. I will send @Xenomorph with his broomsticks after you!

    This most impressive of all armours is a work of art. Designed specifically for the owner of it, it 
    is perfectly forged and fitted. Every plate in it interlocks, and all are angled so as to optimally 
    deflect blows. Every plate is highly decorated with etchings and inlaid metals, but the functional 
    integrity of the suit is completely intact. Behind the metal plates is a layer of chain mail, and 
    then heavy quilted padding.
    It weighs about 180 pounds.
    It bears the distinctive mark of Veldrin.

    Firstly @Delphinus, congratulations on quite the accomplishment to achieve that explorer ranking. Secondly, sorry to disappoint, but no, it doesn't mean you've explored 100%.

    I won't go into exact numbers, but I will say that there is still a lot of places that you haven't discovered.

    @Cardan: Oh, that was just the rumour when I heard about the rank years ago. There are a few places I know of that I haven't been!

    although if you want to send me to those places for a brief nonlethal vacation that's cool

    this is the problem with being inactive for long stretches of time. You can be a member of your house for longer then your house leader, but you're still just a newb who hasn't quite yet. I'll have you know I've been not quitting for a lot longer then almost everyone on that list!


    But really, thanks for all the work you higher-ups are trying to do. I know it's hard to see so many people leave (RIP @Mikey), but some how you all stick through it

    That said, love the latest happenings in Achaea and the events posts were fantastic to come back to. Between @Cardan in the Dais, the great writing behind scenes and the "little things" that have been improving across the board since that topic about what players want to see in the game - major raves for @Tecton, @Sarapis, and the rest of the Garden! You guys rock.

    More troubling, it seems that some of the brave adventurers who periodically undergo the Trial of Rebirth... are not reborn in the Flame as expected, but perish as charred corpses!

    More awesomeness from the Garden. Keep up the great work, I think I speak for everyone when I say how much I appreciate the care for storytelling and interest this is getting on so many levels.

    I'm imagining Scorpion shouting out valorously "GET OVER HERE!" with a noble glint in his eyes as he draws in his victims for a 12-hit combo culminating in a bloody FATALITY while someone yells TOASTY! in the clan chats.
