    Now that I saw who the contracts were from, I reckon you knew who both of the targets were. Looks like y'all won the Mark-roulette this time!

    I want to send a rave out to Ashtan in general, but not anyone in particular.

    I've played games before where the 'top dog' was hell bent on driving that home every moment of every day in every possible imaginable way. I've played games where people genuinely believed the only way they could participate or continue to play was to join their bitter enemies because they couldn't log on without feeling harassed otherwise. I've played games where the 'bad guys' are genuinely bad people that most of us wanted nothing to do with. I've played games where the dominant faction slammed the others to the point where it truly had a negative impact on the game.

    I don't feel like Ashtan is like that, or at least if it is, they have the decency to hold off until we make ourselves real targets. The first time I got wrapped up in raid defense, I was literally terrified to move from being shielded at the barracks in Targossas for two RL days no matter how much everyone said it was fine. Yeah, there will always be some bad eggs, or good eggs with bad days, but I truly wanted to thank Ashtan in general for being decent guys with a reasonable sense of sportsmanship.

    I've been on the upper side of games before and I know that sometimes it is hard to avoid slipping into those behaviors, especially when you try to curtail them in other people in a large faction too. So good on the larger majority of you all.
