I'd like to thank @Ruth (for her discussions), @Zii, and @Orzaansyn for making the Ebon Fist such a good learning environment and always willing to help where needed.

I'd also like to thank @Verily and @Kellandra for the lottery tickets. It's greatly appreciated and I win anything I won't forget why.

Also, cheers to @Saibal for entertaining and enjoyable discussions.

Likewise, to @Jurixe and everyone putting in work with the new building project in Mhaldor, and to Esad the bartender(great guy). I understand @Trey helped with supplying the drinks, and they're quite nice indeed.

Can't wait to see the rest and look forward to more to come!
As much as I'd like to claim credit for things people enjoy, unless they put in more since this morning none of my four went in. Can show you a few of them if you want, though, see how they stack up.

  • It may not be top ten or anywhere near the top scores, but I'm still pretty proud of it for this being my first worldwide hunting competition. I have to give a shout out to all those who kept me motivated, cause a couple times I wanted to sleep, heh.

  • Spent quite a bit of my time not hunting and helping to PK Ashtani/Mhaldorians instead, was fun for sure but mentally and physically draining. 10/10 would do again.

  • @Davio, @Micaelis, @Bouff, people who talked to me, people who jumped me to keep me awake (that was clearly your goal), @Exelethril for not making me freak out the last 4 hours, and @Rangor for the fun last hour.

Hey no problem! I like showing off that Jinsun isn't the meathead warrior people assume he is !

You have no idea how many times your life almost came to an end when I saw you bashing and thought you were in the xpevent, then I'd check and see you weren't.

I must've been on my way to shank you like 8 times. Would be like mid-backstab, oh wait, this kid isn't in the event.
At least you checked! <3 Some people didn't bother.

edit: I thought I would be fine since I wasn't hunting with anyone or in places I imagined event hunters would be but nooooooope...that's what I get for thinking!

It was a good fight, definitely wasn't expecting reflection to soak enfeeble. And ugh, I could have just absolved instead of tumbling. I definitely should have pressured more when Hasar lesserformed. And I should have tumbled southwest instead of south (or dropped one of the many flamed monoliths I had) - I even squinted to see if you were there and saw the monolith. But it's easy to say what I should have done, doing it with the pressure and anxiety the tournament brings was another story. Well done!

Yeah when I came back and saw I was on like 15% mana I was like welp I'm done then I saw you tumble and I think I actually shouted out YESSSSSSSSSS. It's hard to concentrate with everything going on around you, worse in ret too

Nim's IC reaction to a @Jinsun news post was like, "wait, that guy's literate?" >_>

I get that a lot when people actually speak to Jinsun. He can be quirky sometimes, but it's really hard to get far into the Occultists without a lot of studying. I made study guides for a lot of it OOC so I could remember stuff. I really don't mind surprising people with it. I normally troll or outright bitch on ranting menace so I could see people think I am or Jinsun is an asshole or idiot. That's fine, too. It's hard to really be seen as a scholar outside your house unless you're really public about. I think a lot of people would love to sit and chat but for Jinsun there's almost no character reason to want to. When. @Verily was having her public discussion with @Melodie‌ in Thera most of us went in ready to be defensive, but with express orders to listen and stand peacefully in support. What happened Targossians slaughtered the Cyrenians. That was hilarious and fun for me. Jinsun as a character saw that and is no always keen on approaching for tea and crumpets.

TL;DR I like serious discussion RP but it's hard to do with your enemies

Even though all we had were Mhaldorian vs Mhaldorian team fights and I was caught off guard in that fight against Proficy/Zephyros, I had fun in the Twins tournament. I like that each monk duo employed different strategies to win. Was certainly eye-opening to see how fast fights can go awry! Thanks for partnering at a moment's notice, @Cooper.
"Mummy, I'm hungry, but there's no one to eat! :C"

  • Taraza and I got wrecked in Twins, but I just got into solo/small group melee combat and am really enjoying starting to think about strategies and coding a little. Definitely looking forward to getting some practice!
  • @Florentino Definitely a big rave to you for not only filling in last minute but actually contemplating tactics for future situations and he was a great sport about it!

Great job @Cooper and @Ruth for the win in that round. STill counts as a Mhaldor victory :D
