The Occultists, and 300 IG years of membership...which means I've been playing since I was about 14 years old. Awesome, awesome class, guild/house, and people. Thanks y'all.
I found Art.. something in Mysia, I quickly tracked him to see what he was doing.. but he left so I explored around and found out his diabolical scheme. Llamas! I quickly pulled out my rope and Lasso'd This poor Fellow saving him from the Blackmarket and those who would abuse him. Looking into his eyes I could see one thing, Boardem so we went on an adventure and I learned how much of a pain it is to bash while riding my faithful Llama Mr Sparkles.
You have recovered equilibrium. (3.938s) <--- That much of a pain
Despite being covered with a dense coat of invitingly soft white hair, the small smile constantly
gracing the corners of this llama's mouth give him an unnerving, smug expression that wards off
close physical intrusion. The beast is nimble on his feet, and other than a black nose, the only
significant dark patches on his body are traces of dirt and mud matting the fur around his ankles.
With his long neck positioned upright when he is not grazing, the llama approaches five feet in
height, giving him a modestly regal presence. His short tail bushes out into a dense profusion of
creamy coloured locks, and the same off-white hue graces his furry, banana-shaped ears.
A scruffy white llama seems to be unafraid.
We shared many an adventure together slaying great creatures like Bears and Jackdaws and his family.
(I got so bored of bashing I went insane for like two hours and started screaming Llama at people.. )
I should start selling mine to make up for the absolutely abysmal gold that these islands produce. Wonder how much people would pay for them, given how long they take to get.

Your soul cries out in ecstasy as it reaches new heights of power. You have advanced to level 81. You have reached the illustrious level of 5th Circle of Celestial Power.
I brought this up to someone once and the general response was 'lol but it is not a death'. That kind of thing probably meant very little to higher tiered fighters who're killing each other all the time anyway, but for the player who dabbles in pk only for rp necessities, getting a necro/occultist mark hired on them is like a 'rollover and die' button. On the off chance that you manage to kill them, they just cage and bw/astral away, or they keep going at you with the safe and happy knowledge that they already prepped your limbs at no cost.
The admins are doing a phenomenal job with pets right now. Everyone is scrambling to get designs in in time for the price change, so I know they have to be more worked than previously. I got mine in 3 days, and everything was done perfectly.
I'm fine with the increase in pet prices, I know I got excellent service when I made mine, all the way to roleplaying it into the world. It is a lot of work to make them. Kudos to the pet people.

No offense to Mhaldor. It was difficult to log in and find the desire to stay logged in. I am often being told what to do on a daily basis by people I have little to no respect for, it was hard to come home and take similar treatment in a game. I think Mhaldor has a lot of potential and excellence in its roleplay, especially what I saw of a few members of the Ebon Fist, but it is a subtle art and Mhaldor is very much an acquired taste. I had a lot of issues trying to find an identity for this character with that organization.
I only sometimes wish Targossas had the same laws as Mhaldor in regards to what can be said on city channel. I've logged in a few times and my initial reaction to reading 'history ct' was "what the fuck?" But overall I am greatly enjoying Targossas and being a part of their learning curve has been fun. I look forward to more interactions in the future.

it, if there do exist some people who just can't handle the uniqueness

I'm really glad to hear that! I was hoping you were enjoying yourself and didn't get too discouraged by the plan CANNOT POSSIBLY FAIL stuff.
Also I'm sure @Silas will forgive you if you happen to accidentally axekick some of the participants of the nonsense on the city channel.
Oh, and a separate rave: I feel like some of these cloaked assassins are better at pvp than 3/4ths of the players in this game. Cloaked assassin + Baliar could probably compete in twins. Good Lord.
ETA: Re: some of the dumb shit on Targ's CT, I'm currently still trying to turn it away from the deathly silence of Shallam's CT, but will start cracking down and muting people as the balance is reached. But yeah, if some people mysteriously turn up floating along the Silverveil, I won't ask questions.
Rave for double experience and gaining like a level and a half and being about 50% away from level 80. Also rave for being close to reaching the great hunt score I am going for. Gotta do the last push tomorrow. 1000 points. Here I come.
Props to everyone for some fun fights over the hunt. I really enjoy it when we can fight and the next thing someone says isn't OMG YOU'RE SUCH A JERK YOU SUCK SO BAD EVERYONE HATES YOU. So thanks to the people who were good sports regardless if you were killing or dying to me.
@Tesha Even though we didn't finish a full fight, we had a couple of rounds and you were cool as shit to me.
@Caladbolg Saladbowl, I don't hate you. Even if blademasters piss me off.
@Aelios You're pretty good about it when I kill you. Thanks for not whining.
Sometimes, I wish starting combat came with an instruction manual or at least a warning that said, "Oh, I see you're attacking an adventurer. Remember, if you talk shit after you die, they're less likely to respect you." It was a hard lesson for me to learn, but I'm glad that most of my opponents are cool about it.
@Meletus for fixing a bug that's been bugging me (granted, my fault) for well over two months now, and was even a challenge for admin (from what I could tell). Thank you for the hard work guys!

Hunting with my text-great granddaughter @Alrena was quite fun and a nice change from my usual solo hunting runs and loner nature. Too bad she wimped out from fighting Proficy/Zephyros in Annwyn because we "didn't have a plan". The plan is to kill them!

Your energy has been infectious. Although I do want to keep making fun of the plan THAT CANNOT POSSIBLY FAIL that failed so spectacularly.

@Atalkez you, too. Good on you.
@Terra you were pretty nice to me, and fought really well.
@Strata for unphasing and jumping people when I had no fucking clue you were with me.

Yeah Verily saved you both on that guard stack/totem.
Still don't understand how only @Hirst died during that skirmish!
Great times though!
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
