People who complain about slow learning speeds and tekura demonstrations are obviously either excessive class hoppers or excessive alt-makers and need not be taken seriously.
People who make sweeping generalisations are obviously...
Xli... one class, not an alt... it's a long way to fall when you're right up there on your high horse
Wait, am I on a horse or a pedestal now? Or am I on a horse that's on a pedestal? Or a pedestal on a horse? That sounds sort of fun, but a bit dangerous.
In all seriousness though: my comment was clearly somewhat tongue-in-cheek. There's no need to feel personally offended. My true opinion on this matter is simply that somewhat slow learning and tekura demonstrations aren't a big deal and even rewarding. Personally, I never like rushing through learning a skill as quickly as possible, as this destroys the entire feeling of my character really delving into a new skill for me. To me, it's a good thing that it takes some time, and it's even better in tekura than anywhere else. I love how tekura learning is set up and that it gives a feeling of slowly mastering a difficult art. I'm saying that as someone who has learned tekura to black belt when denizen tutors couldn't grade yet and when every teacher required of you to truly master a form before requesting a grading. Yes, it's long, yes, it's somewhat tedious, but if you actually "RP it out" it can be a great, lasting memory.

HA YOU CAVED!
The WTF bury has resurrected itself in the form of the REAL Iocun
An elegant Mysian parrot will not follow your orders.
You give a small mirror to an elegant Mysian parrot.
Seeing a small mirror placed before him, an elegant Mysian parrot hops about, chirping at it cheerfully in an eager display to impress his new friend.
Bright crimson feathers tipped in aquamarine create a wild ruff around the head of this elegant parrot and cover its rounded breast. Plain brown plumage streaked with white covers his face and frames a hooked ebon beak, while his back and wings are coated in shining green feathers capped with inky black. Thick, scale-covered legs support the body of the large bird, and sharp claws tip dark zygodactyl toes. He is called 'Swab.'
An elegant Mysian parrot looks relatively helpless.
He weighs 1 ounce(s).
You see nothing in it.
issue me I accidentally slew my parrot on Meropis (I was targetting bird when hunting the jackdaws and Swab caught an extra punch in my combo). he came back from the dead (he is a caged trade bird), but he's no longer loyal to me/won't follow orders. he does still reset to my inventory. I did apologise to him, but he doesn't seem ready to reconcile.

4/14/1:49 I've had some intense one-on-one counselling with our mutual friend, Swab, and I feel we've made a real breakthrough. I think he's found it in his heart to forgive you.
Thank you to the people involved in the founding of Targossas, and to the players who are now responsible for the start of this new city. Though I have not had the opportunity to be terribly active of late, it still pleases me greatly as a spectator to see your efforts come to fruition. I wish you all smooth sailing in the start of this wonderful adventure, and I look forward to embarking on new ones with you some day soon!
Raving @Cirana, and @Caoimhaen when my confidence starts to flag, and temptations arrise, it's good to have Lotus members remind me what I"m building for, and what I"m hoping to achieve. Thanks for fanning the flames.

First and foremost I'd like to thank @Verily, officially and publicly, for those surprise credits. You helped me reach my Tattoos goal. Much appreciated!
I'd also like to thank @Verily and @Sybilla for being the two best friends Xinglu could hope to have - even when you're both teasing him mercilessly. :>
A big thanks to the @Occultists (is that one even applicable?) for helping Xinglu grow in his study of things chaos. He has a long way to go but it is a wonderful journey!
A specific thanks to @Amunet for always looking over work, though I know how busy she can be, and to @Orklanishkal for answering my never-ending string of questions.
Also, thanks to @Barrons and @Gnaeus for remaining friendly enough, though Xinglu is enemied to Cyrene.
And of course, a thanks to @Babel, just for being the God of Chaos. I'm so damn nerdy, I named a beta fish after Him. >.>
Big race to @illyose for keeping the family to alive. I log in via phone and TWO people one not even Hashani send me tells of how much of an outstanding son I have.
Slightly belated, but huge thanks to @Antonius, @Ada, @Niks, @Eld, and @Seragorn for being really patient and helpful and being heroes in general. There is no way I would have figured all of everything out, and it was really stressful. Thank you so much.
People would initially believe that your sig is that of a cat and its favourite huggie. But you cannot fool me. I see that hind leg going in for the disembowel.
