1) is the new class (or part of it) taken from or hinted as profession in the mythos/seleucar lore or is it something completely new/'alien' to achaean lore?
2) is it likely we get to see the new class before summer or closer to Christmas?
I wanted a custom book weapon I can wield with to smack someone with. Something that says "I'm a freakin' librarian. Don't. Mess. With. My. Books."
Book smacking. It must become a thing.
Which also makes me wonder... is there actually a point in having non-class weapon specialisations? I don't think I ever saw anyone use any of those. Not for RP, and certainly not for PvE or PvP.

Lots of people have over the years for RP reasoning!
Give us -real- shop logs! Not another misinterpretation of features we ask for, turned into something that either doesn't help at all, or doesn't remotely resemble what we wanted to begin with.
Thanks!
Current position of some of the playerbase, instead of expressing a desire to fix problems:
Vhaynna: "Honest question - if you don't like Achaea or the current admin, why do you even bother playing?"
Any chance you could make the hiding aspect of veil/hood be toggleable? I think there are quite a few people that don't mind being found, but like to be able to find people without remove/wear on every sense ability.
Silly page breaks making me miss questions!
IDEA it, we'll see if we can come up with a decent solution there.
Yes I will! ermagerd @Tahquil interview with the Dev!
I was going to float the idea of a Q&A session with a live studio audience to Tecton but it's his holiday! Only emergencies should break into holiday time.

Wasn't I the one who mentioned he'd probably prefer not to on his holiday? When did we swap sides on this?

That's assuming I'll be in a coherent state following 30 hours of travel!
@Minifie I beleive you did. You just made a really good point. I'm one of those people that can change their point of view based on new ideas or facts.
@tecton then we should totally do an interveiw. You'll be less guarded on the new class if your jet-lagged. We could get an exclusive!
Speaking of Aussie food, I've learned some interesting/weird ones from Nat and Seragorn.
Do you eat kangaroo or fairy bread? What kind of things do you like from Australia that might be "weird" or "different" to an American?
I have eaten both of those things, yes.
Oh, for the second part of your question... Vegemite, pavlova, lamingtons all fit the bill here!
I've heard of vegemite and seen pictures, sounds gross. Haven't heard of the last two, or that meat pie you were talking about earlier. I'll poke at Seragorn later.
Vegemite is an intense decoction of pure, salty umami: that savoury flavour profile shared by glutamate-rich foods like meat, mushrooms, certain cheeses like parmesan, yeast, and soy sauce.
Not for the faint of heart, it is used to wean Australian infants from the pathetic weakness displayed by the rest of the world.
Vegemite is best used sparingly, scraped - as one scrapes plaster filler across a patched-over hole knocked in the wall by that derro Scotty after one too many Crownies during the footy, ie. sparingly - across a toasted, margarine-glazed slice of whatever bread was cheapest down at Woolies.

I don't think he wants to support a probabilistic attack on Achaea's RNG.
Which, I know, is why you're asking this, because that's why I'd ask it.
Well, you're wrong, I plainly stated why I'm asking it. It's a field I take a lot of interest in. Attacking the RNG wouldn't be possible without intimate knowledge of his seeding method, which I specifically did not ask about for that reason.

Sounds scary, but Australians have to be raised to be hardcore badasses to survive all those scary animals and bugs there. To make it past age 18 is an accomplishment there, I am sure.
