I didn't mean anything by it! I'm sorry if I offended you. I figured you were probably around sixteen or seventeen - the same age that I started playing, actually. Age doesn't really matter much in Achaea, as long as you are mature (which you seem to be) and stay away from the perverts (a delicate balancing act that requires a firm, if not aggressive demeanor).

Nah, the reason is actually pretty simple: memory capacity. The sheer number of existing asians would make it too great a strain on god's servers to store each asian's age with high precision, so the memory allocation for each asian's age was reduced to one bit: young or old.

For this spring's "non-religious-gathering-of-people-getting-wasted-at-my-mother's-house," held this past Sunday, I decided to go with a festive magenta eyeshadow:

However, the effort I put forth to look nice was quickly rendered futile, as I spent the afternoon chasing my two-and-a-half-year-old nephew, pictured here with his mother's terrible acrylics after having apparently mud-wrestled with the Easter bunny. Or eaten dirt. Whatever it is children get up to on holidays while their parents are busy getting blitzed. 

When I wasn't sprinting after one nephew, I was holding the other one. Awkwardly. Because I still have no idea what to do with babies, aside from hand them back to their parents the moment they start screeching about something.

Not pictured: The awkward conversation about equality that I elected to spearhead with my sister-in-law's eight-year-old niece after she accused a couple in attendance of being "gross" due to their sexual orientation (it goes without saying that my sister-in-law neglected to reprimand her for being rude, let alone homophobic), and the seven Jell-o shots and four whiskey and cokes I drank once my brother finally, FINALLY took the kids home.

They're cute, but every time I see them, they remind me why I shouldn't have any of my own.

I got some new reading material yesterday, and I'm enjoying it greatly. Pretty neat considering I just took a serious interest in studying war strategy and tactics during the 12th and 13th centuries.
