Oh it doesn't worry me too much. In fact I love how wide of range this community is, especially considering how much interaction there is between us. Honestly one of the best communities in how well beginners are treated. I just feel like such a beginner.

I have been playing in IRE for 12 or 13 years now - there is always some part of the game where you'll feel like you're a scrub. That's the beauty of the ever-evolving landscape of Achaea and IRE as a whole. The world actually grows and changes around you and there is ALWAYS something new to learn. Unless you win the Staff of Nicator. Then you declare you beat Achaea and become part of your city's statue garden (or try out new game+ through retirement)

But yeah, this community is pretty newbie friendly so you're taking the right steps in getting immersed.  By the by, if you see Isra IC'ly and ever up for getting converted or learning about EEEEVVIL, hit me up. I love roleplay and enjoy helping people get immersed, too!

Been away awhile busy with RL work things. But I've got free time again and I'm living in civilization now! So I built a new high end gaming system for my vive and decided to use it's power to play achaea!

@Zulah such a weird thought that many of us will never meet up with you IRL but have literally watched/been watching your kid grow up. She's getting huge and I feel old as fuck.

It's funny you mention that. I've met a handful of Achaean's IRL and they always mention my daughter. She doesn't allow me to solo selfie. (And watching her run, bike, bounce, swim, run some more makes me feel old and slow everyday)

I said on a clan that a glass of wine would be awesome right about now, and went to go get a bottle. Aegoth asked me what I was drinking, I said a $2.75 bottle of Blackstone Chardonnay I got after I did a reset at a store.



Then he said he was drinking wine too, so I asked him what kind. His answer surprised me!
