There was a kitten stuck in a tree at my friend's apartment. I climb up aforementioned tree, rescue the kitten, and reunite him with his sister. Then adopted the stray kittens and named them Hansel and Gretel.

Zooooomgkitties. You guys are making me wish I wasn't allergic.
My avatar is an image created by this very talented gentleman, of whose work I am extremely jealous. It was not originally a picture of Amunet, but it certainly looks a great deal like how I envision her!
Been feeling down lately. So I got myself an Eggling on impulse.
Crack open the top with a knife.
Fill with water til it starts to drip out underneath the egg.
Place in a sunny spot and see how it goes. I'll be hiding it on my sill like this.
Hopefully I can get some lavender out of it. If it gets too big, you can apparently plop it directly into the ground and the shell with act as fertiliser (have to crack it in bits first to help the breakdown). I'll keep people posted, if you're keen.
"Faded away like the stars in the morning, Losing their light in the glorious sun, Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling, Only remembered for what we have done."
Kittens are by far the most distracting thing on the planet. When my cat had a litter of five while I was still in high school, the endless amounts of entertainment was wonderful. Giving them away was one of the hardest things I ever had to do.
Edit: While I don't post pictures of me, kittens I can do. These are old, and a bit fuzzy from being scanned, but!
Kitten named @Halos (this was before I started playing Achaea, ha!) who had proudly climbed to the top of the scratching post, all on her own. About four to six weeks old. Siblings in background!
This is James (the one in the toliet), Secret (the one looking in with that "wtf are you doing" expression), and Courage (the one staring at curiously at the camera) causing trouble in my childhood bathroom. Apparently, toilets are an adventure.
Edit: Embedding not wanting to work. So just linked instead.
You can't embed a tinyturl link. To get the pic to embed, you need to take the link of the actual pic and embed that.
Janeway: Tuvok! *clapclap* Release my hounds!
Krenim: Hounds? How cliche.
Janeway: Tuvok! *clapclap* Release my rape gorilla!
Whenever I feel like I am about to break my oath of 'I will not destroy the universe in a fit of rage', I take one look at our cats, and the feeling subsides.
To be fair, I was 15, and she was the fluffy sweetheart of the group! She was also my favorite and got adopted by two collage female roommates whom I suspected were lesbians, so rest assured, she is likely having a good life.
@Berenene I did embed once with tinyurl, actually, so I think my problem was trying to grab the photobucket link via iPod. You don't want to know the weird things I have to do to use a browser on this craptop.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
