@Arador I'm no expert, but I think you overshot that target
You would think so, but actually I didn't. It is just an illusion because of the distance, the focus and the angle. Target is at 20 meters so you do shoot with a slight arc. The angle makes it look like the arrow is way over.
So I flew down to PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) in Melbourne this weekend. First time it's left the US, and I will admit there is a TONNE of improvements required if they bring it back next year. To start with, 13k people/day with capped ticket numbers. Knowing this, they really should have considered theatre venues that could accommodate such numbers. Any panel event had a 2 hour waiting queue and would max out pretty quickly, making all that waiting time sad. I only got to see two panels over three days (Ron Gilbert, and one Omegathon round) and waited 4.5hours. They should come up to Brisbane for our Supanova (anime / pop culture convention), we can show you how to manage three times that number in as many days The 3DS did get a solid 4192 street passes though.

Expo / Developers Hall:
All you LoL fans—the concept artist came along too, and those people speaking apparently are the developers?:
World of Tanks exhibit:
There was a HalfBrick (Brisbane developer known for Fruit Ninja) exhibit with their new game called Colossatron:
Couple of standout independent developers and their games:
I got hungry…for babies. Mhaldorian IRL
And at near 9pm at night, Mr Jerry Holkins (Tycho) himself as he was wandering around the showgrounds (guy on left)

The biggest thing that irked me was the fact that over the course of the three days, I was literally one of maybe 60 girls there, and that's including the STAFF, out of a possible 35 000 people. I'll never forget those looks of confusion on those guys, seriously. That, and totally owning them in Laser Skirmish, Mario Kart, World of Tanks and an in-development iPad game called Armello (think Black & White + WoW + Heroes of Might & Magic mixed up).
I'll post up some pics I took while coasting along the Great Ocean Road here too later. For now, need to sleep off this cold.
"Faded away like the stars in the morning, Losing their light in the glorious sun, Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling, Only remembered for what we have done."
@Wysteria you know what, about 6 of my friends went with 4 of them being girls so I guess I know about 5 out of 60 that went. That's got to be some kind of statistic or something.
Janeway: Tuvok! *clapclap* Release my hounds!
Krenim: Hounds? How cliche.
Janeway: Tuvok! *clapclap* Release my rape gorilla!

Did they get asked if they were cosplaying or asked out randomly if they strayed out alone by themselves at random points in the day? People were taking photos of me thinking I was dressed up, but disappointed them severely on the Friday when I told them that a black trench, jeans, a Threadless tee and being Asian ≠ cosplaying. I really felt for the booth babes though in the Expo Hall. I got some pin badges at least

(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
@Kyrra: I, on the other hand, have no face. How many more dislikes is that worth?
None.

You have been caught in what is known to you humans as a Morton's Fork. Hide your - as I presume - impressive abdominal muscles under the shield known a 'shirt', get dislikes, post unshirted pics, get dislikes.
As I hear from other humans: Disliked if you do, disliked if you don't. And I know there's something about 'damn' but who cares.
Kittens are by far the most distracting thing on the planet. When my cat had a litter of five while I was still in high school, the endless amounts of entertainment was wonderful. Giving them away was one of the hardest things I ever had to do.
Edit: While I don't post pictures of me, kittens I can do. These are old, and a bit fuzzy from being scanned, but!
Kitten named @Halos (this was before I started playing Achaea, ha!) who had proudly climbed to the top of the scratching post, all on her own. About four to six weeks old. Siblings in background!
This is James (the one in the toliet), Secret (the one looking in with that "wtf are you doing" expression), and Courage (the one staring at curiously at the camera) causing trouble in my childhood bathroom. Apparently, toilets are an adventure.
Edit: Embedding not wanting to work. So just linked instead.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
