curious if this is a thing for anybody else or if there's a fix out there already, or maybe I even just missed it in the svo manual... I am having issue with the battlerage msgs showing up on the left side - beginning of my prompt line, as opposed to how they normally appeared on the right side - tacked onto the end. Is there a quick fix, or a svo key to use in my custom prompt?
@Keneanung on my phone at work so I am not sure how accurate this will be from memory. But! Normally my custom prompt is something like: | 5420h (100%) | 4820m (100%) | 2100e | 2100w | 34.9% ex - prone [battlerage + 6.0] 280 dragonsap but on my newest profile it's flipped all the battlerage info to the beginning of the prompt line: [battlerage + 6.0] 280 dragonsap | 5420h (100%) | 4820m (100%) | 2100e | 2100w | 34.9% ex - prone my question was pertaining as to whether there was a specific tag in the mudlet or about manual that I perhaps missed to move the placement of the rage information back to the end?
If you do "vconfig2", then click the "view" link for the custom prompt, you should see the string that is used for the current prompt. If you can't figure any issues with it, paste it here, maybe we can see something.
Even though I'm tempted to tease again, this time it's real: I just uploaded the testing release for Depthswalker which includes: - Affliction tracking of the new afflictions - Depthswalker package including class defences, word balance and age tracking - Some other misc. changes (Sory morphers.. Didn't get around to look into morph tracking...)
To use the testing release, you will need to run "vconfig releasechannel testing". Afterwards, do "vupdate" to make sure svof downloads the new version and install it. The "testing" channel, as the name implies, will occasionally have preview versions of the next svof version when I think they are necessary. When this version is released in the "stable" channel, that version will be also available via "testing", so you don't miss out. I recommend that channel to all who feel comfortable living on the edge and want to help to create stable svof releases.
I also included new default priorities for the depthswalker afflictions. If you use the defaults, do "vupdate prios" to get the new afflictions in.
This release cycle has some known issues, but I believe it's important to get the release out anyways. Known issues are: - paradox tracking is relatively prone to illusions - paradox tracking doesn't catch instances where paradox carries over logout/login
Major plans for the next release cycle starting 1st December are: - smoothen above issues - add paradox curing strategy - Narrow down some basic anti-illusion for age tracking - add a "med" equivalent for dilation - Add lyre equivalent for Kail
Big thanks to @Ahmet, who helped fixing issues and contributed a lot on the defensive side of this release; @Kasa, who hit me repeatedly with Depthswalker afflictions so I could test how those work; and @Zulah, who helped me to nail the Paradox part down.
That's it by me, I hope I didn't forget anything. Enjoy
ETA: of course I forgot something... I'd really appreciate logs about all things relating this release. So logs where the release performs well as well as logs of situations that need improvements. This is a new class with new concepts. I'm pretty sure I didn't understand everything yet.
ETA2: I forgot to mention the new prompt tags: @age and @wordbal
Could someone send me the priorities of the new depthswalker affs, once they update the defaults? Curious where they're set to, and my prios have been altered too much to justify resetting.
I know it's always been that way, but I -really- wouldn't recommend asthma over paralysis or impatience over hypochondria. It leads to pretty easy "noob kills."
Something like paralysis > hypochondria > impatience > timeloop > asthma > madness and so on would be much better for default. Just my two cents. I don't use default anyway.

Svo comes built in with a good number of quick-toggle aliases for things like this. The ones I can think of off the top of my head
pvd - Par/darkshade pva - Par/asthma avs - impatience/slickness (apostate vs serpent I think?)
The @wordbal and @age tags aren't doing anything for me. Age is blank no matter how many years I have, wordbal shows a "w" whether or not I have balance.
Yep, installed dw svo, vinstall'ed, qq'd and restarted. I have |@age@wordbal| and it's showing |w| and that's it.
ETA: Restarted again just in case, now I'm getting the "There's a new version of Svof out" box in the corner, but when I click restart it just uninstalls the DW svof and that's it. I did set release channel to testing, for the record. Am working on seeing if I can fix it, will come back to this.
So testing the DW svof. A lot of the things that are defaulted to be cured by svof, such as parasite/timeloop/depression, make you double up on herbs. I had to set them to serverside curing to actually get cured without me eating 2x as many cuprum or whatever. And paradox is super broken, but you know that already. Heh.
Seconding that SVO's default prios are ick (not just herbs). Don't think they need changed though - the system is free. Should expect people to do their own legwork
So, this is something I've been meaning to ask, but never gotten around to. I find the svof way of changing priorities a bit burdersome, and tend to prefer sticking with serverside for that.
However, more often than not svof tends to change the whole list back to what they were/are supposed to be on the system. Anyway I can keep it from doing that?
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...

Yep, testing echo I forgot to remove. And age tracking should work if you disable anti illusion (tf ai). Sorry about those two things
I'll leave the PR open for a bit, maybe other things turn up, then do another testing release.
