gaaaaaaaaaaah Anastasia was NOT done by Disney! It was a Don Bluth film, (along with Thumbelina, All Dogs Go to Heaven, and Ferngully). Don Bluth films are easily assumed to be Disney not just because of the hand-drawn animation/era, but because Don Bluth used to work at Disney Studios, plus there's the whole voice actor sharing. Anastasia had an all-star cast - John Cusack as Demitri, Lea Salonga was the singing voice of Anya/Anastasia, Angela Lansbury did the Dowager, Bernadette Peters was Sophie, and Kelsey Grammar was Vlad.
@Anaidiana :O I thought no one else knew about that stuff. I only know about it because I had an uncle that worked for both (he did something for Secret of NIHM and for the Little Mermaid and Hunchback of Notre Dame.)
Bahahaha. And that's awesome about your nuncle. And I do adore Anastasia.
Here's your other fun fact - Thumbelina's voice actress is Jodi Benson, who is most notably known for also voicing Ariel, but she also did Barbie's voice in Toy Story AND had a live-action cameo in Enchanted as the secretary for Robert/Patrick Dempsey's law firm
@Synbios to me, that scene trumped Be Prepared from the Lion King. The only villain music performance since that's trumped it was from the Princess and the Frog. Entirely my opinion though.
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."

"Slowly disappear. Never really here."
Either way... Anastasia is amazing.

One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important
