I know this isn't exactly what's being asked for, but I would just like it if you could put items on tables or in cabinets etc. As it stands, I keep all my random trinkets in a vase and that's honestly sort of strange >_> There are 0 flowers in my vase. Just a flag, some obsidian, a pendant and some various clothes. Just having a chest of drawers would really be nice! Or things of that nature!

Like this?
Fashioned of unvarnished oak, the simple frame of this pack could easily be mistaken for a small chest of drawers, and only the sturdy cloth straps worked into the backboard reveal its true purpose. The compartments themselves vary in size from a a drawer barely large enough to fit a vial to one that takes a quarter of the pack's volume. The front of each chamber bears a rounded brass knob of the appropriate magnitude, and built into the top of the case is a sheet of canvas that can be pulled over the face to secure the drawers.

I thought this was already possible. I've put stuff on counters, bars, tables, etc.
Furniture can have things both in and on it (depending on the type).

Handaxe of Insanity - this handaxe is a remenant of a time long passed and will afflict with stun when thrown from out of room. Same stats as handaxe of gaian fury.
A mahogany liquor cabinet- fills with 10 drinks or bottles of previously known drinks throughout Sapience per Achaean month (or 1-2 each Achaean day) (I really want it to include House drinks, but I know that wouldn't fly....Do you think it could occasionally come upon a drink that isn't available anymore, like a bottle of 450 brandy?)
You open a mahogany liquor cabinet.
A liquor cabinet contains: A Bloody John A Salty Dog Vodka A bottle of Obelito rum A bottle of champagne A gin and lemon A Blue Dream a snifter of apricot brandy
A non-decay cart where you can sell wares
A pack flap - this flap can be sewn to any pack to make it a pack that you need to open and close. Sewing this flap to the pack makes the pack non-decay and resetting as well.
A backstage pass ticket - Allows you to enter any House escorted by a Celani for purposes of exploration. (You cannot be enemied to the House or the city that you use it for.)
A magic ball of the Explorer - once a day you can shake it and it will reveal a room that you have not been in. Nothing else is revealed.
A darning needle - Can repair clothing to make it last 3 more Achaean years.
A Golden Alembic - takes 1/2 the ingredients to make a tonic or balm (or makes twice the tonic or balm with the same ingredients)
I'm curious, but what's with the "touch booze" part of that?
That was the line for a pet's amnesia attack, so "touch booze" is meant to use up the amnesia. Although it didn't work very well in that log, failing twice because of other commands being sent before the attack and going through after.
(at)kresslack you fail to understand how seriously some of the explorers take increasing their ranking if you think it is ridiculous.
That's exactly why it is ridiculous. It's like selling a "win one fight" or "win one election" artifact. Anything that meddles with exploration, or explorer ranks, or lets you do stuff like tell which rooms you haven't yet explored, or forces an org to let you traipse through their inner sanctum without retribution, undermines the activity and the achievement of holding a high explorer rank. If you buy an artie that tells you which rooms you still need to explore, or buy +20 rooms in the form of an estate hall pass, are you a better explorer? Or are you just someone who threw down enough cash to win an auction?
@kresslack you fail to understand how seriously some of the explorers take increasing their ranking if you think it is ridiculous.
An equally ridiculous assumption, as I happen to take my exploration seriously (and not because of rankings, but because of the genuine rich history and various experiences that can be stumbled upon as a result). Why would anything that forces an organization to open up their full estate to some probing, curiosity motivated person who has nothing to do with the organization seem like a good idea?
"Hey, I know I have nothing to do with your House, but I have this here hall pass I paid a king's ransom for which says I can get about as invasive into your new House estate as a gynecologist and you just have to smile and pretend it isn't awkward uncomfortable."
Class Bypass Ticket: A free class change, transferring all your lessons in class skills to the new class, and allowing you to change into any class, regardless of org restrictions (forestals in cities, alchemists in Eleusis, Devo in Occultists.)
Obviously the org would get a say in it, and it doesn't make you immune to excomm and such so it's not a free pass so much as a fresh opportunity.
A pennant of sovereignty - converts one denizen area to a player city-state.
Cause I always wanted to be a member of... Creville. <_< >_>
Yeah, Creville.
It's an interesting idea. So this example is a little different, but I know in Imperian, there are player Townes, a slight subdivision of the cities. It was fun to be part of a small town community like that, but I digress.

I say do it, then have every House enemy whoever the eventual auction winner is.

@Lisbethae of course I can't disagree with a replenishable cabinet of booze. The backstage pass thing sounds ridiculous though.
