    the fact remains i never killed anyone after i was told not to do it. even if i did express my murderous intent to someone else. i never killed anyone just because i found it enjoyable or entertaining. they had something i wanted so i took it. its really quite simple. i cannot grasp how that is worthy of this sort of punishment?

    If it was a matter of taking something, when you read up on HELP PK take a look at HELP THEFT too. There are rules on how to conduct yourself properly for that too.

    Guys, I do think we're going a little overboard. Maybe he's from a different game and is used to different rules. A lot of people tend to react very strongly when newbies are killed (even by other newbies), and perhaps that very reaction causes him to react poorly in turn.

    He broke the rules and he suffered IC consequences for it. He'll learn the rules and adapt to them, or he won't and he'll most likely stop playing. Either way, that is no reason to gang up on him and shame him for a few "lol's" for being confused.

    Or he is trolling and you're feeding him. Either way, bad.

    What rule did i break Alrena? That's exactly the question im trying to find the answer for.

    Vastar quite clearly stated what all was needed to be done to fix his situation, though. It's up to him to do that. Edit: dude, read Vastar's post. I think he was pretty clear.

    no dude in fact it was pretty vague and his explanation was wrong or a lie however u want to look at it. i never killed anyone after i would told not to

    What rule did the newbies you killed break? None? Then why would you need to have broken a rule for a God to do something to you?

    I'm sure "I didn't kill anyone after I was told not to" would keep you out of jail in real life too.

    The rules are the rules, whether you know about them or not.

    If I recall correctly, it's pretty clearly said in a few help files that ignorance of the rules is not a valid excuse and does not exclude you from punishment should you break them unknowingly.

    Unwarranted killing of multiple newbies is very frowned upon. Did you say you'd stopped, or did you just stop? If the former, how would anyone know you've stopped?

    The solution is simple, as Vastar stated. Email lathis@achaea.com about getting taken out of time, explaining you won't be killing newbies anymore. And be respectful.

    The Guidelines

    1. There must be a justifiable role-play reason for every attack and death.
    This does not mean you can attack other players repeatedly just for being a
    member of an opposing organisation. Neither can you justify your behaviour by
    claiming something like "my character is a psycho killer!" A player must have
    done something serious to you to warrant an attack, and they must be aware of
    the conflict before you attack them.

    Those of you who go around regularly attacking players because they belong to
    an organisation you dislike, look at you sideways, or for any other weak
    reason, will incur administrative punishment.

    If a situation arises where your reason(s) for attacking someone are called
    into question, you are expected to be able to explain why. If you can't
    remember why you were going to attack someone, you should probably just let the
    matter drop.
    I don't think 'they had something I wanted' is justifiable reason at all.

    Everyone else has XP. I want it. That isn't justifiable reason to go kill everyone.

    the morality of the topic was not up for debate. however what is debatable are the actions taken by the staff in response. so far I have been ostracized and bullied for little to no reason at all. first of all, being put in time with out being given any sort of explanation. thus, I came here to find out, but when the explanation is given it turns out to be quite vague and mostly untrue. not to mention the banning of my forum account and the deletion / unauthorized editing of my posts. in the end I didn't break any of the rules specified in the HELP PK rules. still yet I am in time and accounts banned. lets be real for a minute.

You signed up to the site and agreed to the Terms of Service in doing so, which state they have every capability of doing so, regardless of your consent. At this point you're just being an attention whore, and it's sad, so shut up and move on already.

     as to your comment, im fully aware what they can do but the reason it was done is still baffling. so did you design those t shirts lol?

    Nothing the staff did was remotely debatable.  You broke rules, you got punished for it, you came to the forums to try taking a jab at the administration for doing their jobs, it didn't work out in your favor.

    Now, you can keep arguing around the point, which probably won't do you any more favors than it already has, or you can drop it and move on.
