    Hunted with my paladin. Sac'd about 500 corpses to gain some imaginary kudos. Had a lovely history conversation with Malorn. Then got to experience a new lol-alt priest that was blessing enemies, spying with her angel in city walls, and being a general nuisance. I was holding in all my laughs when she decided to ignore 10 clan invites from Halos. She ended up changing her class, so the mischief only lasted about an hour.

    Yep! That sounds like her! Seriously though, Halos has the patience of a saint. After the first deny, I would be like eff it. You can do whatever the hell you want.

    no i mean that some alt thinks their all that and went and whined on the forums to get their own way. so I just made sure that I'll get the things done I need to before dealing with the frustrations.

    Also do you really want to admit on forums that you looked at something here and then took it IC to spite anyone? I mean, that sounds like what you're saying and I can't help but think that with all the drama recently stirred here drawing attention to such flagrant disregard of people just because you presume they're alts may not garner you the kind of attention you really want to have to deal with in the end.

    Actually no I got all the information about this icly. Found out it was on the forums after I was so totally annoyed that I wanted to hurt someone. Which is why I was totally annoyed the person didn't even wait for the situation to be looked at before they went running to the forums.

    Fair enough. I read the Lesser Aggressive Menace before this post and that's sort of what it sounded like though. I can't help but think it's a little odd to call people out for whining on forums and then gloat here yourself. But maybe that's just me jumping to conclusions again.

    I'm not going to pretend to understand what this thing that someone 'ran to the forums' about is, but I do think that your last post on the Menace shows an obvious negative attitude toward alts that may be part of what that person was picking up on IC,  hence the post. But who knows.

    As much as I'd love to abuse that, it's basically a carbon copy of the tells-to-denizens battle of the wills between players and admins that took place some time ago. Players used to send tells to denizens and objects to see if they were in position. Admins didn't like this, so they declared it forbidden. It continued, so they made sending tells to denizens take balance.

    It seems pretty clear that they don't want things like that happening, so using walk-to like that would probably just make more work for them and carry the potential to lose some functionality of a feature that's very useful when used as intended.

    They don't want tells to denizens because that actually spams the admins.

    Using tells to check if denizens were alive was forbidden because admin could see says and tells directed to denizens and it was spamming them (announce 1338 and 1340).

    @Daeir brought up a Harbingers house problem to which I responded not so tactfully. But that had little to nothing to do with the Academy, but with House promotion policies.

    However, I know for one thing that -while- @Addama was discussing it on the forums, the gears were already in motion in the Dawnlord's office. Why? Because the problem is real, tangible in-game, and @Aldair spotted it and was already drafting a reform of the Academy.

    EDIT to add stuff:
    @Carmell : While I understand this is probably shocking for you, and an uneasy situation, my friendly advice is to roll with it with all the grace you can muster. Do you want to be remembered as the Dean who successfully applied the reform, or as the Dean who, through sheer mental rigidity, resisted the Dawnlord's and the Bloodsworns' will?

That part is easy, most of the scripting is just to make it look pretty and IC.
