The huge ones are a pretty high level area since they tend to stack in large groups, knock off balance and have an attack that goes through shield.

However, if you're tanky enough and patient enough to avoid large groups, they're definitely possible.

Yeah I did them as part of my to-dragon route, but it involved a lot of squinting and knowing when to give up. If they bunched up and refused to budge, I just move on.
