Ironed out the Harbingers HR5-15 progression path. I think this makes us one of a very small subset of Houses with a full rank progression path available from start to finish, with tasks that are (hopefully) interesting, engaging, organic, and involve engagement with members of the other Targossian Houses at a base level.
this. So much rave for this.

Not bad for being the dump house! :D

Seriously though, you and Zuko and everyone have been killing it lately. And thank you for putting up with my bizarre requests.

So they finally fixed the buggy effigy that @Anedhel got me to commemorate my gaining dragonhood. I don't have a cabinboy/cook/etc so I don't have the descriptions for those.

But these are the sireni shipmates (sorry they're fixed in a cluster of 40 so I can't separate to see the shortdesc):
Slender muscles grace the figure of this exquisite siren, evidence of the hard work she performs at sea while her smooth, bronzed skin and sun-streaked hair speak to frequent exposure to the elements. Her garments are brief and fit tightly to her figure, clearly designed for efficiency of movement. There is a wildness in her azure eyes, suggesting an untamed spirit.

    and the Tsol'aa swashbucklers:

A tsol'aa swashbuckler's slender fingers firmly grip the hilt of her cutlass, ready for action.

Tall and lithe, this swashbuckler moves about the deck with efficient grace. Her amber eyes are alert and wary and her bottom lip is caught between her teeth as she scans the area for danger. One slender hand rests on the hilt of her cutlass, absently stroking it in her restlessness.

Spotting a potential threat, a lithe tsol'aa swashbuckler glides out to the down.

Fingering her cutlass restlessly, a lithe tsol'aa swashbuckler glides in from the down.

I love it as a gift, but I'm not horribly impressed by the item. The descriptions aren't particularly riveting or evocative of 'sultry' as the announce post describes them, especially in the face of all the unrealistically beautiful player character descriptions we keep getting exposed to. And I'm saying this as someone who's generally quite forgiving of descriptions.

Also, for 2MC (100 credits IG and 200 credits OOC), I kinda hope for an item that didn't need to sit in the bug queue for nearly a week. My swashbucklers are still bugged because they're still exhibiting their man reactions using all the male pronouns. It just reeks of slipshod :/

@Melodie (since you wanted to see what they looked like)

Interesting description. Kind of agree with you on them, though.
    - (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place."
    - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely."
    - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")."
    - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish."
    - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."

  • Ten bucks says next month they come out with the 'Lacy pillows' artie, which one must buy to get the more risque description for your crew/allows you to watch them pillow-fight once a day. Probably also the 'Vial of convenient breeze,' which makes the male equivalents all stand around getting their hair blown in the wind, like Fabio at a photoshoot, once a day!

Also, in keeping with the thread's theme: had a very nice conversation with @Kythra and @Kyrra, who're surprisingly unobjectionable for being filthy heretics really very lovely. And Sister Thelia of New Hope pitched in, which was a wonderfully pleasant addition, so thank you, whomever that was!
  • Finally finished the shrine study I've been working on for about ten IC years (through periods of procrastination and whatnot) for Lady Valnurana's pre-Order. Really excited to hear @Darktalon's feedback and to work on my other tasks...now that I'm starting to get on a roll.

Did a supervised ship trade with @Lisbethae for a gryphon, which @Nehmrah graciously bought off me, thus completing a House task. Yay House tasks! I have a few more in the works but that's the only one I managed today.

Designed a Mayaween masquerade outfit for @Phelia, can't wait to hear if she likes it or not.

Hung out with @Navarr a bit, discussed designs for our house, fished with @Reydan, got to do @Udyr's oathing ceremony. All in all a good month. Missed seeing my new proteges, though. Getting all my productivity in today and tomorrow since real life work is going to be owning me from Saturday onwards for a bit.

That was really wonderful, and I'm glad that I got to tag along. @Kythra and I had a really nice conversation for a little while after with Sister Thelia. It was really thought-provoking.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."

  • Finally had the nerve to ask @Micaelis about serpent combat. Was totally rocked by the patience and detail he offered. Then some more reagent hunting (which, incidentally, brought me back to level 84), and a bit of book work which is always surprisingly soothing. Also wondering about certain responsibilities and the future ways the character could be going...
  • The design for my sword for approved!

Spent most of the month fishing, little family hunt at the end.

Worked on a bio to become a house mentor

  • Well, fell off my pace a little last night (damn slacker.)

    got to 96.25

Then, woke up and did some hunting before work. 96.33

Hopefully it goes like this: Tonight, 96-97
    Saturday 97-98+
    Sunday DRAGONNNNNNNNNNNNNN

I'd buy this if it worked on me.

    Six deaths later:

    Player Death
    Lyr was slain by Kythra.

    Level Lost
    Lyr dropped to level 91.

Is it because my name is the shortest to type?

It's because Khelthra uses a ton of mana, and absolve is terrifying. :(

Because you made Khelthra mad with your mana draining and priestly abilities!

    Also:

Lyr's flesh begins to swell as a diminutive homunculus resembling Kythra sinks its teeth into him.
    You have slain Lyr.
You reach over to comfort Lyr as he falls to the level of 5th Order of the Hyperphysical.

A diminutive homunculus resembling Kythra claws into Jadys's flesh with dirty nails.
    You have slain Jadys.
Your soul cries out in ecstasy as it reaches new heights of power. You have advanced to level 78.

    Step aside.  B)
  • Those fights were a LOT of fun.
  • @Kythra's homonculus still doing more work than she is.

    This name good.
I just hope that @Tecton gave @Seftin a couple of free samples in exchange for the name.

(Also, will this be a mineral you can mine?)

Realised that over half the people i  meet in.achaea now have one or no eyes or wear eyepatches. No longer a special snowflake. Maybr i will go with having no nose instead.
