I GOT A NEW DOG TODAY. I'm so giddy and excited I can barely deal. He is half norwegian elkhound and half german shepherd. He looks like a compact wolf, but very sturdy and heavy. Such a beautiful, handsome boy. He's such a sweet dog, and everything about him makes him the perfect fit for my family. Been looking for a while, and so happy the day is here that he finally got to come home with us. Named him after a Chief in my clan (Tlingit, Kiksadi) named Chief Katlian who defeated Baranof and the Russians in Sitka Alaska, but we call him Chief for short. Already got him a brand new collar, tag, and a bunch of other goodies. I may post pictures later in the Achaean Pets thread when I calm down (if I calm down).

Not (just) today, but over the last couple of weeks I've been slowly but consistently working through a number of coding projects I'd always been too lazy to do before, including a rewrite - and major improvement of - my limb counter (probably need to get around to putting together a version I can release), and tracking for queued commands which allows me to make some things a lot more efficient. Next up is putting together a list of features from Svo I'm still using and planning out how I want to code it for myself.
