Day late, per norm(the order is slightly incorrect, but I like to end things on positive notes):
Skirmished with Ashtan some more. I was even selected for special assignment("let group travel to me and die first while my group wipes them out"["I did my part"]). Everyone a part of that plan knew I was going to be dead the second I dropped in, so I am really just glad I didn't hit totem and I tanked long enough for earrings to finish. Found out why people remove their wings for raids thanks @jhui (been a member of team Ashtan so long, I have never been hit by half the tactics employed. I know about them, just never had to write anything to avoid them). Had a blast getting to be part of a full cata team for once. I cannot remember one time that I have had the pleasure of raiding/defending with 4 other magi (probably all artied, too). Pretty sure I didn't hit monk deliverance once. I have gotten less brave about assuming they are illusions. Now I just rotate targets or chill until he cures something. Let everyone else test that one, I am lazy.
Received a TF from @Aurora. I am assuming it is for all the essence offered during the essence competition. Maybe it was for my heroic sacrifice in an attempt to run the northern dogs off? Maybe it is just for being dressed so dapper, the Lady felt compelled to reward me. Either way, it's very appreciated and will go to good use spreading Good.
Received some inspiring words from my mentor(not). Got told to finish a letter that I have been putting off for a few weeks. I find it so difficult to ever be satisfied with anything I write. When people mess up news post, they tend to blame their scribe. I am seriously considering hiring a scribe, just so I don't have to stress over 50 versions of a three paragraph letter. Thanks for the high blood pressure @Morthif
Got called a scrub by @Silas and no one validated my ego for me
Tried to talk a non full member into keeping a level head and not rage quitting over an exchange on hnt between them and a higher ranked house member. I haven't really been around long enough to have a good feel on how things work, so I was probably out of line. Either way, I hate to see someone quit just because someone lost their cool for a second. Both parties could have handled it better.
Lastly, helped @Jadys work on her offense a bit. Personally, I feel like before long we are all going to be in for it. I dread the day all the pieces fall together for her. Play time will be over.
It's funny you take it as a pressure thing when I'm so obviously fawning over you trying to get you to join.

I can't help but stress out anytime I write a letter or news post. I have such bad grammar and I want to make sure everything is perfect. Even after I spend a week pouring over something, I still always make sure to get at least two people to read over it to make sure I don't sound stupid (I am) or my tone is not hateful (I am not).
@Jadys and I had our own piratepad for weeks that consisted of all the rp letters which I wrote to Targossian leadership during my conversion. I am also fairly sure I write 4x as many letters as I send. Pk doesn't scare me at all. Rp does.

@Makaela you'd be surprised. I think Lupus is the achaean symbol for virility or something. While enjoying that activity wouldn't bar someone from joining the order, once the conversation was initiated it became pretty hard to take this person seriously all around.
* shyly tells you... honours *... novice title, 19 years of age... (someone needs to be hr5 and 25 years old before they can even apply, and that's publicly available, so right off the bat they are wasting my time) look *... come-hither description, brass-lantern uniform...
This person was also pre-warned before speaking to me that I was super rough on applicants, but this still happened... (paraphrased conversation)
me: I'll answer your questions but you're far too young to join. Let me know when you're potty trained. them: pointing out I'm being rude me: pointing out they're being presumptuous them: I'm not just some novice, I'm hr3! me: You can't read house news or pick your own title, hr3 is novice. them: This could've gone better for you if you weren't such a rude bitch.

@Aodfionn deal. How many buttons do you want to have to push (min is 1, I don't do anything that automatically sends)
Today in Achaea I hunted lots (both alone and with people), which was fun. And among all the talisman drops was this one:
You rip into a Vertani guard with your massive, deadly claws. You have scored an OBLITERATING CRITICAL hit! You have slain a Vertani guard, retrieving the corpse. A large pile of sovereigns spills from the corpse. You have found a Blue Dragon's scale (level 2) talisman piece!
Today was a good day.
- (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place." - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely." - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")." - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish." - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."
Today I learned I can solo tank two ogre knights at the same time. This makes me happy as I am fairly cautious and haven't really explored Dun fortress much, yet.
I found out today that my brother's mother, my father's second wife, passed away on Thursday. She was such a lovely lady and it doesn't seem fair at all.
Got inducted into Cyrene and had like 15 people come out to see it. Which I thought was pretty impressive. Also bought some property with the help of @Allene and then we went hunting. All good fun.
Except the part where it will cost a lot of money to move my house
Helped @Vicious lead a defense against the A-team. It was really funny, because as soon as I signed in, I told him it was going to happen. @Jhui has been 3 vs 15 the past few nights, it was getting about time for them to come in and stomp us with even numbers. We decided between the two of us, that with who was on, it would be better to go piss off Mhaldor before Ashtan started, so we would only get a partial beatdown. We were too slow, though. Poor @atalkez must have been nominated to get group in. I dunno if he landed on guards the first time or what, but I am pretty sure geysering him his second attempt to fly in was the only kill we contributed to(guards stole my kill). At least Ashtan was good sports about it and realized we were completely out matched and left after the first tank. Raves to you guys. I would have felt obligated to keep throwing myself at you.
Completely annihilated opposing team in a Koth. Two magi, monk, and runie vs all devotion team. @Jadys with her awesome props and @rohai with ridiculous limb damage, we were all but one shotting people. We didn't even use the cata but for one kill. I don't think I have ever been given a team that meshed that well together for a Koth. Was ridiculous
Uprooted Mhaldor defendable. It was very interesting seeing how long we can actually tank Mhaldor ranged attacks when people stay coordinated. Poor @Achilles absorbed so much on behalf of me. You definitely saved my tail and I am glad to have you on the same team.
You tanked two people shooting meteors and a sniper. I would t let that be your perception of mhalor's LoS. Didn't really have enough people about to do anything about your party so we just sort of threw stones.

You had two snipers, pre-meteor throws, and thurizas too! That's a lot for this squishy magi to tank! Took consistent reflection, hands, and rotated defend when you guys got going.
Performed a brand new dance for the first time in awhile. Daydreamed finale ideas. Hunted up another half a level and banked more gold towards my third ship. Organized my Order journals (that counts as progress on Seeker tasks, right?!). Failed at the Dreamspear quest again but had fun trying. Snuggled with Serenie. Made some mistakes but was reminded that life is full of awesome so I can't be too stressed.
Took a few CTN members up to the deckhand specialist, synthesized 8000 metals. Started a trade run, that turned into a marque run, that turned into a coming home for a house ritual, that turned into running from pirates, that turned into getting a crew to help out @Artanis , that turned into crash courses in ship's weapons and boarding, that turned into dodging 3 pirate ships, then finally attending the house event before @Aodfionn ousts me.
Guessing you were on CTS Inspiration? We were aiming for Artanis when we undocked since he tried to sink one of ours earlier. When he came out, the attention shifted.

Sounds like a fun day man, cheers for the post. @Vicious leading the defence woulda been fun if nothing else. He's not called Vicious for nothing!
Uprooting our defendable totem is a bit 'how ya goin'. I'm thinking the thank you in return might be fun :-)

lol what a great big (fun as hell) clusterfuck that whole thing was
Went fishing.. Nearing the end we ( @Artanis, @Aaiden ) were headed back in and happened to pass the TOC.. Well, we were on a Galley, and thinking that we could have some fun with pirates.. we chased it.. Normally, we have a bit of fun and go our separate ways (otherwise we shoot at each other for days), but this time we just docked in Shastaan and went to sell our fish.. In the mean time, the MOP rallied three ships and set a trap just south of Shastaan that was too good for dad to say no to (See.. dad -really- likes shooting things.. PEW PEW!!) Anyway.. so I retire to hunting while he goes to have fun, without realizing there were three ships total. It was not long till he sounded off in the MTC that he was surrounded. Eventually he broke free, and I ran to New Hope to quickly board the ship and help. He rounded the bend and I climbed the ladders as fast as I could before we headed south.. Dad turned to me and said with a grin, "I have enough endurance for one more wavecall.. Want to make a pass at them one more time?" Of course I said yes, I love the chance to learn more about seafaring, and battling is a prime way to do it! So we started our trek back north, passing New Hope and gaining knots. Soon we reached the pass, shooting through and passing all three pirate ships. Admittedly, my weapon abilities are not as up to par as I would like.. so many missed shots were had with only a few actually hitting our pursuers until they were able to get close. Suddenly, our rigging was snared, and our sails were aflame. Dad yelled for me to clear the ropes, and as I swung up I tried over and over again to clear them, only to be stopped by: being set aflame, random reflexes that decided to hate me -right then-, and my curing that refused to just let me burn. Eventually I was able to clear the rigging, much to dad's relief. We had been surrounded, and once the rigging was finally cleared, we took off once more. @Ruth had a bit of fun taunting us for a little while, but it's understandable.. Dad doesn't normally run.
So today I learned that I should pay more attention to current reflexes.. And that the MOP is a bit more organized than I previously thought. ^,^
Note to self: stop forgetting your bucket-o-water..

Probably the most fun fight I've been a part of in a while.
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
