Such a short lived relationship but an amazing song of it (and in one take too).
"Faded away like the stars in the morning, Losing their light in the glorious sun, Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling, Only remembered for what we have done."
@Wysteria That was the album that made me a Nick Cave fan!
There are also the songs on The Boatman's Call (my favourite Nick Cave album after Abbattoir Blues/Lyre of Orpheus, with Dig!! Lazarus!! Dig!! closely following) -- Black Hair is one of the most heartbreaking repetitive songs ever and is so nakedly about her. I keep wishing they'd get back together. Ignore the non-visuals for this. I couldn't find the album version. I like this version, but the The Boatman's Call version is so poignant. Like most of that album.

Haha me too! I managed to convert a lot of my mainstream friends via Nick Cave + Kylie Minogue though:
But got my slow rock friends into him with Nick's first band Boys Next Door:
Dig!! Lazarus!! Dig!! was an incredibly good album for his recent works imho. I imagine they had separated due to irreconcilable difference (as musicians always would) so I guess their music can be cast into the depths of sweet sweet memories.

I'm bummed I have to work all the days his shows are on and I'm IN Australia!

I very much liked your second video @Valden, now I need to watch the whole series again because I didn't remember all those kick-butt scenes.
Don't forget the Movies
It's from the first and second revived movies. Watch them!

And at least I don't have Dalek visions in my head anymore.

True story, last night's post ended up with me listening to Nick Cave all night and all evening today
I haven't listened to the 2013 album yet, and I'm incredibly bummed that he's touring right now when I am not in Australia. Oh well, maybe next time.

...and something else
Swans, with Karen O (of the Yeah yeah yeahs) on vocals. Arguably the most incongruous song on the album.

Tiny Vipers.
Nouvelle Vague's cover of the David Gray song. Pretty good cover too.
