    I've sought out people whose gold I've found on the ground before if enough to mean anything. But that was before joining Mhaldor. I suppose it wouldn't be very evil to go up to some Page and tell them you found their 7k gold on Mysia next to their mount, and would they like it back?

    I always return gold dropped in raids. I see no reason to keep it. The dude just died and now lost the gold he forgot to put away. Quikly buying supplies mid raid is an easy way to forget putting it away.

    A thief's conscience? Shouldn't they be uncaring? IC, of course. That's why I never understood (when the old theft system went away) why so many thieves were crying because "we're losing so much valuable RP" -- it seemed sort of altruistic to return stolen items if they were meaningless to you.

    No, I don't, which is why I didn't understand the RP aspect. Either they break with their character and give back what they stole (for a pittance comparatively, I'm sure), or feel OOC guilty for stealing someone's stuff and causing OOC grief. I guess they could just do it for the thrill, but I don't think that's what the Naga/Shadowsnakes RP is based on. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!

    I actually gave that guy gold to make up what he lost. I was pretty pissed when I found out. :)
