Benedict Arnold was found out to be a traitor because in the real world there's physical communications, and American forces found these communications.
In Achaea someone decided he wanted to change sides so he let you into everywhere he had access to so you'd take him in.
Screwing over your own faction isn't new and inventive, and pretending that this makes him a better RPer than the people who've converted to our side (many of whom had visible conversions over RL weeks) just means you again, have no idea what you're talking about. It's ok though, this is pretty much expected for par for the course for Mhaldor given the past few weeks.

Let's not let @Illyose 's conversion over years via speaking to Mhaldorians and growing tired of Hashan get in the way of winning the forums, shall we?
Do not worry. I am sure Mhaldor will all praise the amazingly deep RP behind fucking someone over when it happens to us next time.
Pretty much bound to happen when you take in that sort of person.
@Bonko (PBUH) has pretty much exceeded all of my expectations, @Chapel's been a decent guy, all in all, I'm somewhat happy with our recent questionable converts.

It's already happened to us quite a few times.
I don't mind the role of betrayer, I think it could be done better... but it's still a thing. Might as well respect it for what it's worth, and in my case it means I won't like the person even as a Mhaldorian. Once a traitor, always a traitor in Aepas' eyes. That in itself is a form of RP, there is always RP to be had. There is always room for redemption, but that takes time and effort.
I see conversion as itself a large leap of faith and I respect that. I honestly fear the person who goes all out, assuming that they will think they deserve an elevated status in evil's eyes. And for the people who have done full on "betrayer" status, I've actually normally seen them go dormant.
I just hope that this is actually what he "wanted" to be known for, and didn't just do it as a second thought. Many hardships will be coming, and not just from your former allies, but new ones as well.
I personally prefer to do the do my best before leaving. For my previous two houses one was donate a tun before leaving and the other was milk 2000 vials for venoms before leaving

I'm still waiting for you to make Bonko HM of something. disgonbgud.gif
Some betrayal can go over the top, and from what I've seen I think this might be one of those cases. It was over the top (per the admins, based on what they did to recover it) when ... I forget her name, but some HL left the Crown Merchants and took their whole bank account with her. Letting people in to an area to raid they ordinarily couldn't is cool and can be fun, but helping them clean out a house's whole stockroom is a little over the top: that causes lasting damage and the loss of realistically unrecoverable items.

I replied to this in a different thread (read: raves). Someone had to take it there.
It was me. I said yes to him allowing us into
BL estate. The estate stockroom was the BL's own fault for not having an
eye sigil. Illyose couldn't even open the door. If he withdrew gold
from the BL as HoN, then I didn't know about that.
"Mummy, I'm hungry, but there's no one to eat! :C"
I hate betrayals, i do , but I think this one would have been easier to swallow if there was a shout, a wretched insult on ct, or if he actually participated in the raid by attacking rather than just standing there making everyone think he's afk, and being used.
I get it. He rped his betrayal on your end, but he sure as hell sat around silent on our end, and didn't have the courtesy to do it while his HL was on... Instead everyone waited Until Eld was gone and there was no one capable defending. this kind of betrayal needs an audience, and you took the smallest one possible.

edit: In before your agree/disagree ent @Kaitali.
I'm glad you proved my point. Both that you have no idea about conversions to our side, and that your previous post was useless.

One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
...But you'll always follow the voices beneath.
