Scaling got removed in 2016 unless it got reverted and didnt announve it
- The torn tendons affliction (from the knight Two Hander specialisation) will still stack, as these are not frontloaded like the other forms of room hindering abilities and have an overall lower affectiveness.
It wasn't removed, if that's the post you're talking about. They still have a stacking effect.
This is not the case, but @Rispok the question isn't arbitrary at all, in fact it's the opposite: it's specifically designed to be part of the hard line tedious bureaucracy infesting the Embassy which requires you to answer questions truthfully even if on occasion those answers aren't ideal or comfortable. This is in line with numerous real-life bureaucratic forms that we are often forced to fill in with seemingly irrelevant details.
I thought about this, yeah, but it's still a bit unnerving and, dare I say it, immersion breaking. They know the answers to the questions they're asking, so you can't lie. In real-life bureaucratic forms, if that's what it's supposed to feel like, mistakes can be and often are made. How is it that Chellan instantly is aware of order status, something that many people keep quite secret?
Anyone else have thoughts on if this is a necessary or useful mechanic or RP device? I know there was recent discussion about shrine conflict and being a 'follower' of an order, and this seems somewhat related (to be fair, Lupus doesn't even have shrines any more, and after the changes to shrine conflict, even my Kris was nerfed to no longer let me offer).
I only ask because it's a hard line to step over, after years of RP and a massive event that DIDN'T kill a God, and that same God still being part of the game despite not having an in character role. Whining and bitching.

Probably for the same reason I can be a flying tiger that spins a spear and throws an axe with manual dexterity, and whhy I get new lives when I die. The Gods of Achaea, in their infinite wisdom, have gifted certain individuals.
For Conclave talisman sets, does the version you get when you complete it just depend on which side your city supported way back, or is there any way to control which version you can get, nowadays?

whatever your city supported way back, and the city you are in when you complete it I think, so if I join eleusis I still have frost robes.
I got a message that my Iron Membership expired for some reason, and when I went to manually renew it I got "You already have an active membership." CREDIT REPORT says "Your Iron Membership is currently inactive." though. Is this a common thing that should resolve after waiting a bit (it's only been a few hours), or something I should send an email about?
@Sena It happened to me once when it expired on a Sunday, once it hit Monday it went through, but that was after I resubscribed so it too the money twice. I recommend waiting til tomorrow.
If you take Monk as a second class and go the Shikudo route, is the Shikudo investment 2500 lessons, or only require the 1767 of a standard General skill?

It does stop it. So either yours is bugged, or you forgot to re-wear it after goin' for a jog.
Wellllll shit. Probably the latter, but mine usually gets re-worn automatically. Weird. Oh well. Live and learn! Was still a fun skirmish.
We actually had this arise one day with Eigen's. I was teasing him for getting boomeranged during a Mhaldor raid (assuming he wasn't wearing shackle by mistake) but then I looked at him, he was wearing it, and I moved and boomeranged him anyway. I think he bugged it but I don't know if there was ever a fix. Him just removing and rewearing it resolved the issue. So it's possible it wasn't your mistake.

Ah. I'll have someone test and see if it works fine, but I already took it off and put it back on. If it happens again though and I'm positive I'm wearing it, I'll bug it. It was actually kinda funny, because I was in Ashtan, then definitely not in Ashtan going wtf just happened? Why am I surrounded by Mhaldorians!? Omgah--luvubai. I got a laugh out of it anyway, did a buncha stuff wrong, did some stuff right, learned some things. It's a win even if the shackle was being wonky.
Try ‘twig’. I know it’s something that doesn’t make a lot of sense in that context.
Give us -real- shop logs! Not another misinterpretation of features we ask for, turned into something that either doesn't help at all, or doesn't remotely resemble what we wanted to begin with.
Thanks!
Current position of some of the playerbase, instead of expressing a desire to fix problems:
Vhaynna: "Honest question - if you don't like Achaea or the current admin, why do you even bother playing?"

Did they change the shackle? Because shouldn't it stop this?

could be wrong though, my memory isn’t what it used to be
@Makarios any tips on this?
That was the first thing I tried, as mentioned earlier, nothing in inventory.
I'm not the first, or probably even the 50th, person to be doing this. Anybody remember how this goes? Or did this work before and just bugged?
