    Here's my contribution:

Lots of walking and probably some swearing as well.

Edit: There's some hilarious party tells in between all the walking spam.
My favourite part was Coopers valiant defence against your jitb :P
That was pretty much my favorite log. Ever.
Bonko is now my Achaean role-model. While some of you may consider killing your rezzer dumb, stupid, waste of good resources.. griefing.. Pointless.. waste of time.. loss of friends.. mean.. issueable.. overboard..

I laughed so hard I pooped my self, Best class rp goes to Bonko. now excuse me while I change my pants.

  • I've always said and I'll always repeat: everyone wants to be Bonko's friend, not because he's nice, but because he's a genuinely scary mofo. No, I'm not kidding, that person is really scary.

    Aww, no he's not <3

Not 100% Tbh the chance for it to work is so low I typically have to airfist 3-4 times to get someone preped. Void+para is more effective than air vs parry in pretty much every situation.

Of course the only occultist I typically fight is Payne. with the damage of occultists I can't leave mir stance with out dying to ents alone. Add in the fact bm accuracy kinda sucks with out thyr which requires me to hamstring/feet or orb the chimera and vitiate to hit them 100% In all actuality it's taking me a minute or more to hit him 4 times with a 1.7 balance attack.

Then add into the fact that Payne at least likes to wait out rebounding while his ents are pretty much destroying you causing me to have to raze during this too.

All and all. I hate occultists

And after thinking about it I just figured out a way to completely negate Parry, orbs still a problem though <3 you Dunn

  • Weird that you have all these problems that I've never experienced.

                   Party right, party hard,

                                            Sing and dance, perfect bard.

                                                                     Prefarar loop, accentato whore,

Buy a new rapier, get nerfed some more.

  • @Caladbolg is that voidfist impale + bt strat viable in a lot of cases, or just specific cases where you seem to run into a lot of blocks/parries?

It's mostly effective vs people you don't want to have to try against. It was extremely effective back in the days of vadi-m when people didn't writhe impale now of days it's mostly effective on people who don't know they can shield while paralysed and to get a quick impaleslash off. but there's easier ways of doing that.

As far as effectiveness goes i'd say it's better at slowing down burst damage than anything.

I could live with all the silliness of BM's having free impales without having to do anything for it, if it wasn't such a ridiculous drain on willpower. As it is, BM only has to hit a few buttons over and over to not only hinder an opponent's offence, but also drain them off all willpower in no time, which guarantees death (unless you just keep running from that point on).

    Breaks? Who needs breaks?

Mind you, in truth I wouldn't mind any of that if I just knew how to kill a defensive fighter in any reasonable timeframe. But I'm utterly terrible at that, so it always comes down to stuff like this. Either I have the willpower advantage (when fighting monks, dragons, priests), or they do (when fighting blademasters, occultists, sentinels).
  • I do agree that the willpower cost of clot should be looked at, it seems kind of wrong that 3 failed kill chains of a blademaster drains me completely of willpower, when a dragon can try 10-15 and I will only be at half will.

  • Dropping your shield wasn't the best idea.

Oh I did acctually to snipe :3

  • Serpentlords clearly have no idea how to do a proper backstab squad, that was pitiful. FOR SHAME

  • Well, Hawek evaded through mindnet, give them some credit.

or they got all eager and are like omgkillomgkillomgkill and walked through mindnet. They typo'd backstab about 3 times each before getting the syntax right, got eyed, and then backstabbed him.
  • That is a lot of fantastic mindgaming going on, but one must point out that straight up triple backstab is probably more efficient.

    No.

They did it like pros. First, they went in and observed. They couldn't be sure if Caladbolg had shield up or not, so Vayne and Mycen left and re-entered together, deliberately flashing up on mindnet, lulling Caladbolg into a sense of "hah, I now what they're up to", while keeping their true numbers secret by having Hawek stay. Then they waited, sure in the knowledge that Caladbolg would eventually grow uneasy. They were right, and he eventually did what they had always planned for him to do, to drop his shield by throwing an eye sigil. With their masterful timing, they had anticipated this moment precisely and managed to backstab him while his shield was down. Then they deliberately hit his shield twice to make him think "hah, I'm safe" and dropping his guard before getting rid of the shield and sniping him to death.
I lol'd pretty hard to this.

  • Tripple backstab with knowing likely he's going to shield..  People seem to think around the box.  So.. you people managed to drag me to forums cause you can't talk ic about.. congrats.
